The combination of Bob Gaudio’s musical songwriting and production talent and Frankie Valli’s drive was like an irresistible force moving an immovable object.

The fluke is that a group this talented had to wait this long and for this musical for its talent to be fully recognized, a recognition that was almost immediate by comparison for the Beatles and Beach Boys.
