Dominic Scaglione, Jr. to Perform at Frankie Valli’s Induction into the New Jersey Hall of Fame!

As reported earlier, the legendary Frankie Valli will be inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame on Sunday May 2, 2010 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark!
We’re excited to report that Dominic Scaglione, Jr., who has played the Frankie role in JERSEY BOYS in Chicago, on Broadway, and in Las Vegas, will be performing at the star-studded celebration!
We asked Dominic: As a true Jersey boy, what does it mean to you to be singing at Frankie Valli’s inauguration into the NJ Hall of Fame?
Dominic responded, “I am so honored, it’s like singing for the Pope!â€
Wow!! What an honor!! But Dominic isn’t with the show anymore…..anyone know why? I saw his in NYC and he was sensational.

Tickets for the May 2nd induction ceremony are still available through NJPAC in Newark. In addition, to Frankie Valli, 14 other New Jersey legends will be inducted. It is fabulous to have Dominic perform in honor of Frankie. Some other performers include the Hub Caps, Robert Randolph and the Rusty Paul Band (Les Paul’s son)and special guests in a tribute to the legendary Les Paul. We hope everyone comes out to honor Frankie Valli!

Hope to see coverage of this event on the blog. It’s been way too long since Dominic has been visible to his fans. I’d love to see him back with Jersey Boys.

Just back from Sat matinee of Jersey Boys with Dominic Scaglione Jr as Frankie Valli. He nailed this role. Every tune, every dance move was outstanding. Great cast and production. The yankee in me says ‘no’ to $200 matinee tickets but you get what you pay for and this was the best.
