Marshall is surely the second guy..tall, thin, and I see a strong resemblance in the countenance of his face. He always seems a little low key. I loved “Hootenanny” as a young child. I think mostly because of the music. Odd to think that I actually might have seen this performance as a young girl, and then had the opportunity to meet Marshall mannnnnny years later at the Jersey Boys Gala a year and a half ago. Loved seeing this clip….I talk about “Hootenanny” now and people look at me like I made it up!

Here’s a comment posted on the YouTube video: “The first guy who speaks is named Eric Weissberg, he played banjo in the dueling banjos theme fromm Deliverance, the second guy is Marshall Brickman, he later produced Annie Hall and the Tonight show. The third man is Clarence Cooper – I used to see them more years ago than I care to admit in Greenwich Village. An original member of the group was Alan Arkin, great actor, who also wrote the banana boat song..”
I’d have to agree on the order of appearance. We know it’s not the first gentleman, and Mr. Brickman is not an African-American, so…

Stubbs, I’m guessing Marshall is the guy performing on the far right when the video begins. Does anyone know for sure?
