Ladydance -I didn't manage to get much video of the cast performing as someone close to me was told to stop using their camera & I didn't want to risk the video of the speeches being confiscated.

I may have audio of it - not had time to check my recorder yet as been SO busy at work after being on holiday - I know the battery went at some point (even though it was fully charged) - so fingers crossed it kept going while the guys were singing. Will upload it to Stephen's website if it did record!Fingers crossed!

i was at the awards to...fantastic night.i was in the balcony and believe me i think i annoyed quite a few people with the screaming i done when the guys and girls were announced as winners.Also met a lot of the cast outside and congratulated them...plus i got a picture of me with stephen AND his award!!! Amazing night!! I was sitting in 6th row right in front of the podium, so had an excellent view.

Stephen would like to thank everyone who voted for him. He was on fine form last night and I have uploaded a photo I took of him shortly after he received his Award. I was also very excited to have a quick word with Bob Gaudio before he accepted the Award for Best Musical - lovely guy!!

I did manage to take video of all the Jersey Boys acceptance speeches - not the best quality, but better than nothing! Obviously I had to be careful as I wasn't sure if cameras were allowed!! I will need to sort out the video & will try & get it on-line in the next couple of days - please bear with me!!

The full cast were on stage for a Jersey Boys medley at the end of the Concert, which for me, was the highlight of the show...brilliant!!

All in all, an excellent night!

well its a big woop woop from us this side of the pond...well deserved!..and i do believe they will have to rugby tackle me down,to stop me woo hooing on the 3rd!..

Never realized Gaudio had a "doppelganger." I must admit I had to look that one up. Now I know that he and the other Seasons have plenty of them. I love the way Gaudio mentioned the gratification that this is from “the people." (Think I'll go post my comment on the Blog. This is such a nice outcome for London.)
Charly, your gentle reminders kept us working our way back to more computers and playing a small part in the WOS record-breaking numbers this year.

I am so proud to have been a small part of these wonderful awards and also so pleased that I got to see the show in May. We need a US JB Blog London invasion. Wouldn't that be fun! Congrats again to all the London cast and crew and to all of the dedicated London fans.

This is such great news, although I never really thought there was any other possible outcome. Congrats. Keep those accolades coming!!

It was a concerted effort on all fronts here and across the pond! We all rallied from the start with the write in nominations and then the actual voting. WE REALLY DO TAKE CARE OF FAMILY!! A record-breaking 35K voted this year compared to 25K last year. 40.6% of the vote for Best New Musical speaks volumes...how incredible is that figure?

Lynn is there right now having the time of her life. She will be reporting back with all the details along with video and fantastic pictures.

Well, Charly, you played no small role in this great achievement. I loved the cast in London, and both Stephen and Ryan were absolute delights in letting me joke with them at the stage door. So happy the hard work was rewarded. Charly, I can't wait to hear the recorded acceptance speeches...I'm assuming you were the first one thanked.

Charly, if I'm ever nominated for anything, I'd immediately hire you as my publicist. Actually, I'm surprised you weren't across the pond today. And by the way, you're the only individual I know who looks even better after a grueling airline flight than before the plane boards!!
