Irene, it was also a pleasure meeting you!! I also must apologize that I wasn't aware that you were involved with the jerseyboys blog also.

Howard, I know I must sound like a "broken record" but thank you again for such kind words. I have known both Frank Rovello and Charles Alexander since the early years of the internet and both gentlemen are first class all the way.

Was so nice to see you again at the event!! It was a whirlwind for me, so I'm sorry I didn't get to chat more with you. I know we will meet up again, Jen's cabaret I'm sure, and hope to be able to visit then. I do want to tell you about my friend not realizing that she was seeing JB while standing outside the theatre. Irene, my gosh...look at what you created. People crediting others with "paving the way" is sometimes an overused expression, but it's really true in this case.

Wish the notification for San Diego would have had some more notice, and I would have arranged to visit a client out there, but I'm already committed.

And George, you're so incredibly gracious. One of the most important things, for which John Lloyd Young sets the example, is to say thank you to people. You've done that and more. I believe you are friends with Frank Rovello as well; last night is the first I met him (although I read his GILG Blog almost daily), and he's another class act and listened so graciously as I shared some bittersweet memories of many years ago.

Yes, maybe it's a sign that BC/EFA will have benefits featuring the Chicago cast and the Vegas cast (while in SF) too!

Stoy, Irene... that is astonishing; how appropriate that their tickets go on sale the day after the NY event! You have exposed an unspoken desire by JB fans to spend time with the casts. I'm so happy for them. As little Joey would say- it's f#^*ing amazing.

The BC/EFA benefit for Jersey Boys was something that I would consider "once in a lifetime"! It was a dream come true because I was able to meet and talk to the original Four Seasons and the OBC Jersey Boys! What a bunch of class acts, from Irene, who first thought of "The Plan", Eisner, LLP and Michael Clarkston and staff, who helped make the evening run so very smoothly. The fans were also to thank because of their support to fight AIDS and to support the Jersey Boys.

Now, the 1st National Tour will host a BC/EFA benefit, and I hope that they are just as successful!

Just wanted to post a little note. I had a wonderful time last night at the benefit and it was great meeting Howard, Susie, Dale and a number of your members. I didn't even know this forum existed until last night and am amazed at all the effort that has gone into this. It truly is a labor of love and I wish you all great success in your future efforts.
