Beverley, Jody, Howard & Wanda, thanks so much for the cabaret re-cap! I knew it would be a special evening. Jennifer is a great talent and such a gracious lady. Obviously the cast loves her too as they showed up to support her. I love seeing the pictures of Tim with her fans...he is as nice as she is! Thanks for the memories...with the strike going on, it's hard to get JB stories these days!

DEAR BEVERLY - How did I ever miss you??? I never got a chance to talk with you at Jen's cabaret!!! AND you were sitting with Kathy??!!! You were at the table next to me then, WOW, I am so totally blind to my surroundings!!! I am sooo sorry, I will make it up to you by talking your ear off next time I see you!! LOL!!! I hope you are well and still feeling all the love and good vibes from Jen's cabaret!

I get up to NY once or twice a year, so maybe next time I will have the pleasure of meeting you. You write so well, and it's always a pleasure to read your incredible descriptions of the events. It sounds like a wonderful time was had by all. Although I'm not able to attend these very special functions, I never feel left out, because you are all so good at telling stories. I'm grateful to be a part of such a FANtastic group!

Beauty, like taste, IS truly relative,as my grandmother used to say!. There was so much love and support in that room last night that everyone really did look beautiful to me. And no, it was not the lighting ! I was very happy to finally meet and talk to fellow JB fans, yourself included. I know we had met briefly before, but didn't really get a chance to talk then. The greeting was genuine.So glad my height is not in dispute anymore. That's one of the things a true Jersey girl never lies about! Thanks for the vote of confidence as a possible replacement for Daniel but I SO don't think so!

Pamela, what a nice comment re everyone looking beautiful, incl. me. Thanks so much, but I think it was the lighting. And actually Jen's Tim thought he was considerably older than I when it's the other way around--we need to get him a good optician! And Pamela, thanks for that exceptionally warm greeting at the door.

Beverley, I doubt that any other show has generated this many friendships, and I think the Blog gets a lot of the credit, with these wonderful cabaret shows and impromptu "parties" afterward contributing, since we get to mingle with each other and the cast. Sorry I didn't get to talk to your Jen a bit more yesterday. There were so many Jen's there though (yours, Jody's, and our star), that I was so tempted to scream out "Jen" and wait for the whole room to turn around....but I stayed on best behavior.

Finally, Irene, I have given comedian Jackie Mason (whom I know through a mutual friend) some thoughts, but when we meet, we always clash as we each try to be the center of attention. And he thought my ideas were too Jewish and too much Jay Leno-ish, until we did hit the mark based upon my hassling a colleague on spending too much time in the Duty Free Store in Toronto Airport and my trying to use frequent flyer miles--and his take was actually funnier than my actual experiences!

Great connecting with you guys today right after such a wonderful night. Yes, and Pamela, you are at least 5'5"--and with those heels, about 6 feet--maybe you'll replace Daniel as the next Bob Gaudio?? LOL--it was great.

You are a man of many talents, all of which you manage beautifully. And speaking of beauty, it's all relative, kiddo. Last night, everyone looked beautiful!

Jennifer was truly amazing! Her voice is incredible and she is so genuine. I love when she does "Moving On Up." This was the second time she sang this song. The way she acts on stage is the way she is in person. She is vibrant, so full of energy, and so caring, and her emotions are transparent - "a real person." Each time she performs, the first time I saw her was at "Journey to Jersey Boys," you learn more about Jen, her family, and her life choices along the way. Choosing the songs and then weaving them into the stories she told takes a special talent. The lyrics of the songs brought tears as well as smiles to the audience. My daughter and I were given a table at the very front next to the stage, and so this was awesome! Kathy was at my table and she continually took pictures throughout the show, which she will put on the blog for everyone to see. Besides such a wonderful show, it was great to talk to all of the Jersey Boy friends. At each event you get the chance to meet a few new names who you always read on the blog, but have never met. It is a chance to also talk more to people you have recently met. I often wonder if this has happened to any theater goer with any other Broadway show, and I really sincerely doubt it. This cast is the catalyst for sparking these friendships and it is so neat that they do cabaret shows such as this. It is a chance to get to know them better and also spend time with their fans who attend. I guess our next reunion will be on February 23rd with JLY's concert! I can't wait to hear him sing and to celebrate with everyone again on that night.

How wonderful that evening sounds!! I SO wish I could've been there. If anyone has any videos of Jen and pics of course, I'd love to see them - so glad she had a great turn out, but why wouldn't she, right? And the JB guys are, as many have said, the best cast on Broadway!!

Regarding JLY, that is too sweet. Ands it's funny that we kind of expect him to be that way...I have never seen him reject a fan or not make it a point to talk to a fan. :)

Howard, did you ever think of doing stand-up comedy or being a comedy writer - of course, you'd be out of work "right" now but hey, you don't gotta be no Einstein to see there is a future in writing for you. IE

Jody, it was a marvelous evening, and we all had a ball. Glad I had someone at our table actually recognize that "Come-on-a-My House" was a Rosemary Clooney hit from the 50's. And all those hits from our generation--Marmalade, I Think I Love You, Angie Baby, Movin' on Up..and all so beautifully done.

Re JLY, he is true class. After he had been at our table greeting you, Jen, and Gary, he returned as I settled in just as Jen was about to begin, apologizing that he missed me a few minutes ago as I was "working the room"--upon which he gave his megawatt grin and laugh! Can you imagine a star going out of his way to greet a fan?

Michael also came up as did Dominic, to tell me his parents and grandparents were thrilled to see him on the Blog. Don't know what it was with Travis disguised in glasses and that hat, but I played along. Tituss is happy w/The Little Mermaid, still in previews, and Peter Gregus looked wonderful after his recent procedure.

OK, now gotta get that beauty sleep--yeah, yeah, I'm still waiting for the "beauty" part to work. Couldn't have better tablemates tonight...thank you.

OMG!!! OH WHAT A NIGHT!!! JEN, you have a beautiful voice, you made me tear up girl!!! And the place was packed..What a tribute to Jen..She was wonderful, and the Jersey Boys Band...WOW...Jen and I sat with Gary and Howard, we were very lucky ladies. Thank you, it was a pleasure sitting with you. Jen and I got to congratulate Michael, and I gave him a magnet :-) We had great seats, The cast of JB were right behind us!!! Just got home from a fabulous evening. Jen was AMAZING. She is just a consumate performer; talented, beautiful, warm, and really draws the audience in. Her voice is powerful and silky at the same time. She did a variety of songs, interspersed with personal stories . The venue was perfect; small, intimate, with great acoustics. Many of the Jersey Boys cast were there, and it was so nice to chat with all of them in this setting. John was his usual friendly and gracious self, making sure to see and speak with everyone.I was so happy to meet so many people from the JBB ; Dee (and Joe), Howard, Gary, Jody (and Jen), Wanda, Beverley (and daughter), Courtney. Sorry if I left anyone out! Thanks, everyone, for such a great night. It was really a privelege to be there. Okay, I have to work tomorrow, so must get to sleep. To be continued tomorrow........ oops..forgot to include Courtney..I know she will have something to say. Courtney kept us entertained at the lounge in the Marriott til 2am after the BC/EFA benefit. We want stories, Courtney!

Can you hear me laughing?!!!! You are right that my description was vague and could define many. To be a bit more specific, my hair is medium brown, blond highlights, curly, and I have dark lipstick. FYI, I REALLY am 5'5, and that's without heels, which I will likely wear. We will not elaborate about either weight or age (!). Suffice to say that we are all young at heart and relatively spry of body. I look forward to meeting everyone. I plan on getting there around 845, as I am still on the wait list. Howard, can I count on your connections and pull to assure me a seat?!

The "pull" Gary refers to is that the maitre'd Kenny knows my face from my friend Jana Robbins's many shows at the Laurie Beechman. But let's all try to sit as close to each other- as we can-we can ask Kenny-- and maybe get there a bit early to mingle and make introductions.

Pamela, your pic has been on the Blog...but let's face it, around 5'5" and dark hair describes half the population-- a few inches shorter, it would even describe JLY and me. It'll be great seeing you. And Jody (& Jen), Beverley (& daughter), Wanda, Courtney from the Midwest, and Vanessa....wow. Vanessa, we didn't chat enough on the 21st when you were supposed to keep me company and make intros as we both came solo, so let's make up for it later. And guess what?
