I guess this should be filed under "Midtown Men' dreams, but a couple of weeks ago, I dreamt I was on the road with the boys. I was somewhere between...a road manager and a friend, along for the ride. It was the evening before a performance. We were all chatting. I recall Christian sharing some experiences from back during his 'Jersey Boys' days.

Enough of the dream...it's been a nightmare trying to get to their shows. Except for their performance in Rhinebeck last August, it hasn't worked out for me to see them. Inexplicably, there's been a schedule conflict time after time. This has got to stop (or should I say 'start')!

Last night I dreamt I was at a JB performance and when it was over, the cast all came out thru the lobby, in almost a makeshift parade, as the audience members were still mingling. the audience members were encouraged to walk along with the processional, and many did. (I think I may have been influenced by having recently finished "Water for Elephants.") I didn't join. I was waiting for one of the girls, and when she came out we went somewhere with one or two other people - don't remember if they were cast, friends, strangers - to have a quiet conversation. When I woke up I remembered what it was the conversation was about, but I don't now. Hm.

I haven't had any dreams (wish I had) but all the time I have Jersey Boys tunes running through my mind. Never anything else but Jersey Boys.

After watching a documentary on Air Force One, I dreamed that I walked outside my home and a private jet was parked outside. The two pilots, dressed in dashing navy blue uniforms, turned around. There stood Christian Hoff and John Travolta. very.cool.dream!

Ok, so I know we haven't had one of these posted for awhile, but I had one last night that was...uh...not so good.

So I'm rushing the last show, and I get my ticket. Yay and all of that! So I'm getting ready for the show, head to the theatre, and my ticket is in my other purse. So the doors are being flooded with people, and somehow I slip by to get in there. So I'm walking to my front row seat, but as I'm going, it's getting harder and harder for my body to move, almost like I feel as if I've been date raped or something. Literally, I'm practically dragging myself to my seat. So I finally get there, right in the middle, and someone's sitting in my seat, holding my ticket!

Maybe it's all the thought about rushing the last show and everything I heard about it that made it that way. It was almost like a nightmare.

So...I walk into the AW Theater and am sitting by myself in about Row N, seat 17 next to someone who has seen the show 36 times. All is right with the world, right?! Well, when the show starts, I remember pink/ pastel colors and there are animated images in the stage area. I'm yearning for Ces Soirees-la, but no...

It is almost 15 minutes in and I'm not seeing any of the guys come on stage; it's more like a movie-sorta. At that point, EVERYONE in the theater gets up to leave. I mean...what's the point, right? It was rather sad. It's one thing to think about the show ending someday, but sadder to pretend that it's still running, when it isn't. (Almost tempted to start a new thread entitled "JB Nightmares")

OK, my daughter woke up yesterday and told me she had a dream that she was singing with Frankie Valli. She is from China. Audrey are we both on the psychic hotline????

I had a dream about Frankie a couple nights ago and of course it was the usual...you can remember it, but it's hard to articulate. Anyway, I do remember asking Frankie what country he likes best. His answer - China. I also remember he later broke into song - just because he enjoyed singing. That's it - nothing too exciting.

My friend Heidi told me about a dream she had last night. She and I were waiting to go into a JB show (she did not know where it was but it was a small theater) and two of the guys came out and said hello. Then one of them told us that one of the guy's was ill and since I knew the show so well, could I fill in for him. I said "sure" and told her that I had to go get changed. She then realized that I had the tickets and she could not get into the show. A crowd of folks started to push in so she got in the middle and snuck into the theater. She ended up in the front row and as soon as the show started she woke up. Luckily...she woke up before my performance...LOL

Lulu, JB the movie outtakes...that would be pretty incredible. I'm not sure if I'd want JB to be a movie, but I'd love to see those in your dream. And three baskets, I'm impressed. I can't make a basket to save my life. We always knew JLY was a multi-talented guy ;-).

Lulu, JLY scored three baskets??? They didn't lower the net, did they?? (Only kidding if you're reading this JLY; I'm not that much taller than you are!!) I'm looking forward to your next dream, Lulu, that has JLY scoring three or four touchdowns in the Super Bowl. And the next one after that of JLY knocking out Mike Tyson....

On a serious note, re the dream prior to the JLY basketball fantasy, I missed Christian at the Tommy reunion, and it would be great to see him laughing and happy again as we did at the Sept. 28 brunch when you read Rick Elice's wonderfully funny and poignant tribute to him.

Last night I dreamed that I lost a duffle bag on a flight home from NYC. I had to go to the baggage room to claim it, and when I got there, it had been turned into a gymnasium and John Lloyd Young was playing basketball...dressed in the the long black winter coat and red scarf he used to wear at the stagedoor in the wintertime! After he scored three baskets, he turned and said it was time for him to go back to CA!

I had such an entertaining, funny dream last night. I was at the movies watching the Jersey Boys movie and it was good because the OBC cast was in it and it was exactly like the play. But at the end of the movie, as the credits were rolling, there were gag reel outtakes, and it was hilarious! Props were falling down, John Lloyd kept dropping a glass & it would break, the horns on the cars kept honking uncontrollably,the lights sparked in the last scene, and Christian began laughing during his last speech & couldn't stop laughing. I actually woke myself up laughing:)

My mom told me about a rather peculiar but possible dream where she and I met Frankie Valli at the Sears Center Arena concert in February. We ended up becoming friends, and there were a few other details.
But it was peculiar because my mom never has dreams. :P

I love your dream Lulu. Not much of a cook but I can bake with the best of them.

Now that I read my past post here, "Young Girl" by the original artist was in my dream last night. So were the OBC. Really strange dream, though.

Les Miz tunes have been running through my head since I walked out of the dress rehearsal. I just love the music for that show, and of course the whole cast, especially JLY in my opinion, was wonderful. I've been singing Les Miz a lot for the past couple days, which is something I haven't done for a while. I missed it. I usually have some song or another running through my head. ;-)

Hmmm Stubbs, you and I have the same problem. ;-) Except my tune is "Young Girl" by JLY (I think I've seen that video way to many times. I just love the song...)

The last few mornings I've been waking up with Les Miz tunes running thru my head.

On the night before I saw Jersey Boys in Vegas, I had a dream that I was at the stage door meeting the actors and doing my usual "OMG! You were awesome! Can I has photo ops, now?" sorta thing. Of course, it's the week before the Les Miz concert. Guess who shows up to see the Vegas show? JLY was also at the stage door to greet the Vegas cast.

I really wanted this one to come 100% true. Ah well, I met Dom and Jeff after the 10PM show! ^^;

Call it a lucky guess. ;-)

I haven't had any JB dreams lately. Except one: something to do with a limo pulling up in front of where I live, ready to take me to see Les Miz. But as I get in the limo, there's an escort.

I'll leave that up to any of you to guess who it was. :-D

I had such a good dream last night...thanks to Charly & her photos. I dreamed that many of us JB fans were gathered at Charly's home and JLY was there with a DVD of the Hollywood Bowl Les Miz performance. We were all laughing and talking and eating (btw, you had some great snacks, Charly!) Honest, you can't make up stuff like this. It was so cool. I guess sometimes daydreams become real dreams:)

This dream was MONTHS ago....well, the school one was in January. The next night I got my first letter. The conceited one was a couple week ago. I can't remember if I knew about MYTH, but I definitely don't know the plot. I just knew he was in it.
My dreams come true sometimes. It's pretty weird....
