  1. Michael Conway. New who?

    http://www.thestage.co.uk/reviews/review.php/26938/snow-white-and-the-seven-dwarfs

Local young talent Rikki Stone consolidates his full of fizz, confident Muddles, while Michael Conway - soon to be in Jersey Boys - is a good-looking Prince, with lovely Ellie Robertson as his charming heroine. Both romantic characters having excellent singing voices.

New swing, we think Leanna - possibly taking over from Keiran who is the only one leaving I believe.

I have heard that Michael is in fact 3rd understudy i think for Frankie,1st for Joey,2nd for Barry, and he also understudys Hank and another role but i cannot remember which so that is a mix of both Kieran and Ben Evans roles that he will understudy.
Charlie Bull is taking over as Lorraine.
Michelle Francis is returning to the role of Francine
and Jayde Westaby is taking over as Mary.
    Hope this all helps. xxxx

That's useful to know ... And obviously if mr molloy beats marti pellow to the George best role as posted by leanna under the 'ryan molloy' bulletin board that appeared in the Sunday papers ... But not mine ... this week he could well have more opportunity to be seen! Exciting times ahead methinks ...

... and would you believe it ... Within minutes of my writing the above comment I learn that on ryan's website apparently he is staying for another year ... Sorry for setting alarm bells ringing... But then what does the Press know anyway!!!! Lol

  10. It's not like renewing with JB for another year necessarily means wasn't considered for the other show.

Sure Leanna ... understand that ... but no doubt we will never learn if he was or wasn't considered ... the suggestion that Ryan was being considered only appears to have been quoted in that Sunday paper you quoted ... I haven't seen it suggested elsewhere ... and Ryan has been very secretive about whether he was or wasn't staying ... so the Ryan-ites are... as you can imagine ... very relieved ... :o)

Aah but no timescale has been announced yet, so his new contract may not necessarily be for another full year!

2nd March: Brilliant matinee, with full cast on top form.As Norm says,"You guys get better and better". Managed to say thanks and farewell to Glenn (having done the same with Phil on my last visit) .......figured it might be easier than trying to do so on 13th/14th. Good to see Jules (no,not me in the mirror - the other Jules!),Megan and Lynne.Look forward to seeing all the regulars on 13th/14th......... it will be an emotional weekend, but I'm sure we'll give all those leaving a good send-off.

  15. Anyone here attend the muck-up matinee and/or the final show for Glenn Carter and Philip Bulcock?

Not sure what "muck up" you detected in the matinee. I was one of the many regulars who attended the final show for Glenn,Phil and the others. It was ****ing amazing!!! Superb performance and - as you might expect - a very enthusiastic ( and well-behaved ) audience. Ryan's speech about those leaving was well done. There were tears in eyes both on-stage and off. A perfect end to this cast combination. I'm sure we all wish the best of luck to those coming into this fabulous show.

  17. I wasn't there, but I saw the mention on Twitter, plus there's that West End tradition of goofing off at the matinee before the final cast change.

Leanna ... Sadly no muck up matinee allowed by orders of the production company! We had a great muck up matinee last cast change but not allowed this year :o( ... something to do with people seeing it for the first time so get a professional show!

The regulars at sunday's final show with this cast did get up when glenn carter came out for who loves you. Additional ushers and security were on but sounds like they couldn't make everyone sit down ... It was like a military operation, I understand! I saw both shows Saturday and both were of the standard we've come to expect ... Excellent!!! There was something very special about the Saturday evening show tho and particularly my favourite scene ... Starting with Beggin..

Now looking forward to a new cast with no doubt their own interpretation ... Particularly the girls as they will all be new ... Hopefully new cast will get the same jersey support as the old cast ...

My first visit to see the new cast members...and they were great!!!You would think Jon Boydon had been playing the part of Tommy for two years - not two weeks. Jon and Eugene braved the rain and chatted at the stage door afterwards, along with Stu, Stephen and others. Oh... and it was good to hear Jye getting so many (deserved) laughs in the "Shut up,Joey" scene. In fact the quality of the support actors is something that should never be underrated. As ever - Jersey Boys....DELIVERS!!!

The Jersey Boys London website has been updated this week with new photos from the cast. There is also new video blogs introducing the new boys and goes behind the scenes on their first night. Make sure you check them out - they're very funny!

If the link doesn't work for people overseas, I'm sure they'll end up on YouTube sometime soon.

Another incredible performance this afternoon(1st June).Full cast apart from Michael ably standing in for James.Everyone on top form, with the girls bringing some interesting nuances to their parts since my last visit. Also, one of the most responsive audiences I have come across..... some extremely complimentary comments from first-timers I met after the show. I really do enjoy it more each time I go!!!!

I completely agree with you Jules-hello there!- I enjoy the show more every time and still find something that I missed previously that tickles my fancy!Loving Eugene and Jons different perspective on the characters of Nick and Tommy-Eugenes Nick is much more humerous and facially and physically more emotive than Philips take and Jons Tommy is more menacing than Glenns and the new understudies are simply amazing. Can't wait to see them all on the 20th at West End Live and to hear Eugene sing in 'Oh What A Night'
