    Hello, everyone,

Buz and I will be in San Francisco on December 8 for the entire day with no plans! Can we form our own group to go see Jersey Boys at the Curran? We could do either matinee or evening and have an early lunch or dinner together. I have been e-mailing with Angel who gave me this idea! Maybe we can even get a backstage tour - what do you think? Irene, Buz, Linda, Angel, my mom - that's five. Maybe more? This is my first time to the Curran so I am not familiar with the eateries. Open for either matinee or evening as well! So exciting!

Not sure if I can make the evening show, but I'm available during the day. So are we up to 7?

    Have a good day.

Angel, there are a TON of eateries. Lori's Diner, Quizno's, King of Thai Noodle, Crepe House, a sushi place two blocks down, and the Westfield shopping center if you want to eat and then walk uphill...get thee to Yelp. :)

There's also the dive diner at the corner, Naan & Curry around the block (although you will smell like a tandori oven after), almost any type of food you're craving is within walking distance from the Curran.

Do we all want to sit together? Do people want orchestra? Mezzanine? Balcony? Need specifics. I can order them.

I think the Saturday matinee is when the alternate Frankie usually goes on. Would you rather go in the evening and see the main Frankie?

I may not be able to make the evening show, but I am going the following week. So please schedule whichever show is best for everyone. I can still join you for lunch or dinner.

The schedule for when the Frankie alternate will perform is probably going to change when the new cast comes in.

It's definitely great that we'll be having another meeting with Irene and Buz in SF! Please let me know when we decide to purchase the tickets and I'll definitely consider it. If we can get a group discount, that would be even better! Do 10+ or 20+ attendees constitute a group at the Curran? Regarding lunch or dinner, it's still up in the air considering it's exactly two months from now, but I'll let you all know as it draws closer.

    Thanks for your consideration!

I think it's 20+ that count as a group. But I'm not an expert on box office info.

It says 15 to 20 is a group. I like Orchestra. Would be nice to sit together too. It says they can hold our seats - pay later. That's nice too:)

I agree it nice of SHN to have that policy for "hold now, pay later" on their group tickets. I also agree that the orchestra section is an excellent choice. We had row 5, left orchestra section, when we attended the August 16th show with Irene and Buz but the view was just unbelieveable! It would be my twin sons and I attending that evening.

    Hello all !
I am Angel's Mom who will be with her when she goes to SF on Dec. 8. I called up SHN just now to confirm their rules as far as group sales are concerned and here are the info Brett (the agent) told me: Group sales for JB have to be 20 and more; it is true they can hold our seats up to (1) month before the actual show. The total amount for the 20 tickets will have to be paid with (1) check or with (1) credit card a month before the show; As of this time, the best available seats they have start at the O Section which is the 15th Row but towards the Center Orchestra and costs $99.00. I asked him if he can look for other rows maybe closer than the 15th Row and he said he can, but we will be scattered all over the Orchestra. The other alternative to buy the tickets is if we go through the Ticketmaster or if someone can go to Curran's Box office to choose the Seats. One last thing...the total fee to buy the tickets with the Group Sales is $15.00 for the Saturday Matinee and $25.00 for the evening show, but that takes care of the 20 tickets unlike when you buy individual tickets where Ticketmaster charges fee for every ticket purchased.
So that's all the info I got for now. Maybe someone will come up with a better idea on how we should purchase our tickets before we run out of good seats.

    Thanks.
    Mila

Row O is really quite nice! I was there for the "closing" performance. I hadn't sat in that area for a while (maybe when Les Miz was here in 2005), but it offers a great view of the stage AND you're not too far from the bathroom. ;)

I bought tickets for Sunday's matinee, December 9th and was able to get Orchester D. I noticed that the more tickets I put in the better the seats. I wanted two tickets, but could only get Row Z. So I entered three tickets, and was able to buy Row D. Through Ticketmaster, you are charged $10.25 per tickets, but since I do not live in SF that was the easiest way to go.

Buz and I will sit anywhere - it would be great if we could sit together. What does everyone think? SHould we each get our own tickets and plan to meet before and/or after? I am fine with matinee. Guess we should make a decision soon so we can get the tickets. Thanks to everyone for looking into everything for us. We can't wait to meet everyone. IE

    Hi Linda, Irene:

Been traveling today. Are you booking for the matinee or evening? I will purchase our tickets tomorrow as well. As for the venue for lunch/dinner, how about Linda picking the place and set time. This way, everyone can make their ticket arrangements on their own and then we'll all meet at the restaurant. You know, for food, fun, friends (was that at Room 325?). Thank you so much - I am so looking forward to this get together!

Angel: I purchased tickets for Irene, Buz and myself today for the 2:00 matinee. We are in row L. We should probably meet for lunch at noon since the play starts at 2:00. Let me know who all wants to join us and I'll make reservations somewhere.....Bring your own towels....

    Hi Irene,

We purchased our tickets. Matinee. Saturday, Dec 8. So far we have:
Linda, Irene, Buz, Angel, Mila, JBFan, Tiggerbelle (I believe she can come if it is matinee) - that makes 7.

I believe Mike M was going to attend the evening show with this twin sons but perhaps he can join us for the matinee instead?

    Thank you!
