Geez, I know I've seen it 19 times I think, but the only thing I have clear is the number of times I saw the SF/Vegas cast, which is 6 times. But I know I saw Rick as Frankie 8 times.

And I know my number will increase come my spring break. ;D

OK you guys, this is an unfair game. I am in Houston Texas. Yes it is a bit on the Hooterville side, but the show is coming here NEXT WEEK! Don't I get any credit for this? I have seen the show 5 times in New York. That is a long trip from Texas. I have 2 sets of tix for the Houston run starting next week. Do I get any points for my effort and bringing some culture to Houston????

I agree w/ Krystal, I LOVE that cast.

It's been awhile since I've seen this thread. I've seen the show four more times:

    8) NYC - JLY
    9) Costa Mesa - CKJ
    10) Chicago - Jarrod Spector
    11) Chicago - Jarrod Spector

I'm fairly new to the Jersey Boys fandom.

1 - Chicago with Jarrod Spector
1 - Chicago with John Michael Dias

Not enough! Got to rack up some more - especially after the weather warms up a bit.
Would also like to get to Chicago and take a friend who lives there. She has no idea
about the musical and will be blown away. A nice surprise for her. Does anyone know a nearby hotel to the the theatre? I do not know Chicago at all. Even need to recap how long JB will be playing there. Know the run has already been extended into the summer - I think. David

It's open-ended, but Ticketmaster is selling up until July 13. (For now.)

David, there is a great hotel that is connected to the LaSalle Bank Theater. It is the Hampton Majestic and is basically above the theater. There's a special entrance into the theater. We stayed there in November and it was really nice. I think it had just been remodeled and the rooms were beautiful. It was so great to hear the Jersey Boys music every time we walked out of the hotel. The Palmer House is also close to the theater, about a block away. Hope this helps.

I know what you mean, Missy! When I was there I wondered what it would've been like to stay at the Hampton. I stayed at the Palmer House and loved it! First of all, it's a gorgeous, historic hotel. But best of all, it's just down the street from the theatre! Maybe next time, I'll stay at the Hampton.

JBfan, the Palmer House is a beautiful hotel. We went and looked around when we were out walking one night. The theater is in a great location with all the State St. shopping right around the corner. There's also a great restaurant called The Italian Village just down the street from the theater which stays open until 1:00 a.m. so it's a great place to go for dinner after the show.

My sister and I ate at The Italian Village before the show. It was cozy, the food was yummy and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?

Since this topic came up on the Blog this weekend, I thought I'd bump up the thread for newcomers to the Forum and for those of us who have added to our original tally. Anyone want to post new numbers?

Since I'm hoping to see Eric Gutman as Tommy in about 10 days and plan to see JB in Vegas, I should be reaching 22 performances after those.

I haven't seen JB (or any musical) since it closed in SF. No, I'm not on a fast or a protest. Nothing has played here that I feel like seeing. ;)

Four times all with CKJ and Deven May, the first time I saw Michael Ingersoll then the next three times with Steve Gouveia. I saw Erich Bergen the 1st and last time and Eric Gutman the two times in the middle.

And it's official! I see it in a week in Chicago and then again on March 27 in Minneapolis! I can't wait to see it in Chicago. It'll be great to see Michael Ingersoll again, and it will be exciting to see a new Frankie/Tommy/Bob. I'll be seeing Erik Bates and Andrew Rannells too, so that will be cool. I am looking forward to CKJ again. I know all the other Frankies are great too, but I adore CKJ. He is so talented, so sweet, and so freaking gorgeous (well, actually most of the Frankies are, aren't they?)!

Which Frankie are you going to catch in the Chicago cast? Because they all basically kick ass, from what I've heard. I know lots of people who love Steven, who's obviously the understudy...but I would try to catch JMD. His voice is frickin' gorgeous.

Well, since you're in the SF area, I think The Drowsy Chaperone is coming, and you know you want to see Spring Awakening since it'll be at the Curran. ;D

Hmmm, come to think of it, I've seen Rick Faugno the most as Frankie. Mainly since I caught him twice in the Sherry tour and like, six times with the recent cast.

I think I'm seeing John Michael Dias, but I'm not exactly sure. I'm seeing a Sunday matinee if anyone can tell me.

Oh, that's when he's on. Trust me, he's really good...he's really solid and I'll say again, he has an amazing voice.

(Updated) 19 times now, including the National Tour Cast (SF), Chicago Cast (SF), Las Vegas (SF) and recent OBC viewings with Michael at the helm! Now, I'm awaiting Las Vegas to open and will definitely attend after May.

I am now at the Hampton Inn, right next door to the theatre in Chicago!!!!!!! Tomorrow I wake up bright and early and go to wait in line for rush seats. Yay!!! I'm so excited. I love CKJ, but it will be very exciting to see a new Frankie. And I already have tickets in Minneapolis for Thursday.

So by this time next week, the count will be 6x. Not as much as some, but it's a start.
