It sounded unusual hearing John Lloyd Young call himself a "civilian" when his run as Frankie ends..... He replied to my post describing my NYC trip, and he did mention being a "Fan" of Jersey Boys. The most comforting thing is that he definitely wants to watch the other productions as well. I'm sending him a few "Jersey Boys Fan Club" cards in hopes he will spread the news about the play in his travels!
Regarding the other special guests attending the NYC benefit, I'm not sure if it was a combination of Charles Alexander, David Cace (Eisner, LLP) and BC/EFA that had organized the Four Seasons and Brickman & Elice's attendance there. What a star studded evening for Jersey Boys and Four Seasons fans! Hope the Las Vegas event will be just as exciting too!
By checking Virgin American Airlines, from San Francisco, the one way fare is..... $49! If we receive a specific date for the gathering, that would help everyone in planning flights! What a bargain, and if Virgin American flies from NYC to Las Vegas, they may have specials too from the East!
