Hi everyone - I've been lurking on this board for a while now, and with all the new people signing in I thought I'd finally join in. I'm Karen. *hello* =)
I've never seen the OBC in person, but I saw the national tour at the Ahmanson Theater when they were here in Los Angeles in August. I was absolutely blown away and I fell in love with the show. I always loved the Four Seasons, but JB brought my appreciation to a whole new level. Bought the OBC recording immediately, and have been listening to it nonstop since then. It's the only thing I listen to in my car now (and I have a 90-mile roundtrip commute!). A Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons anthology is now my "go to" playlist on my iPod. I've watched all the JB videos on the GILG website (um, numerous times) and have become a huge fan of the OBC.
I think all of OBC are wonderful, especially JLY. I have been so delighted to have received notes from JLY in response to the fan letters I've sent him - what a nice guy he is!
I hope you all have a wonderful time at the BC/EFA event tomorrow night! I want a full report so I can live vicariously through you. ^_^
