I would just like to thank everyone who I met last night. You all made Jen and I feel like you knew us forever, and that you hadn't seen us in a long time. I don't think I ever had friends that made me feel like I did last night. It was amazing!!! Susie and Dale, I want to personaly thank you. This Blog is a blessing to me. I know that sounds very extreme, but the medication I am on since Breast Cancer, makes you very depressed. So coming on here every day gives me the lift I need, just as Jersey Boys has. So thank you, for making me happy day in and day out. Love you all...Jody

Jody, so glad we could add something to your recovery. I am especially sensitive to breast cancer since it took my mother while still in her 40's, three of her sisters and two of my cousins. Indeed, the gene is so strong on my mother's side that I have a male mammogram every two years or so (all is fine so far). The good news, though, is that one of my cousins has beaten it twice, the last time over 10 years ago, and she's now (in her 60's) an active softball player.

Thanks you guy's..:-) I thought you should know, because if I ever get too emotional it's just the meds. LOL I think I will have to send my magnets to the rest of the cast. I gave Peter the magnet I made for him, ( Play the F*cking Song Already ) he loved it. So some how I will have to get them to the cast..Jody

Jojen, that was very touching. I'm tearing up. (sorry, the rule is... we're always excused for inserting script references, I believe.) There was a quote from Brian Estrada in a JBB Fantastic Fan interview that went:
Although I never have directly talked to them about such issues, they have motivated me to do things I have never done before, and take chances. I will always owe something to them, even though all they did was sing, act, and dance their asses off.
I commented on that interview by saying- "Wow, it works that way on both coasts, huh?" Ok, so maybe this is not exactly parallel to your challenge Jody, but I imagine many of us have consciously or unconsciously used JB and, by extention, the wonderful friendships that have evolved (generally instantaneously) as a coping mechanism for some of life's challenges. I know I have. Not sure that it has been cost effective compared to other therapies :-), but it sure does work. And one is not tempted to stop treatment so quickly; in fact, at times it feels impossible!
It was wonderful meeting you. Thanks for the introduction; I was not looking forward to the prospect of Howard asking every woman there if she were- Jody.

Many of your posts here on the blog make me laugh out loud! So, it was neat to meet you. I love the magnets and buttons. I almost didn't get any, and so I thank you for givng me some just before we left. Audrey is right about Jersey Boys being such an outlet. I can get through anything at work and through the week knowing that I can get to see Jersey Boys on the weekend. Spending time on the blog at night is special too. jojen...please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I went through my own bout with cancer 9 years ago, and I received encouragement through cards and letters from alot of people I didn't know, who were business associates of my husband's, or friends of friends. The internet does serve a wonderful purpose, as it connects those with common interests who, in times of need, can support each other. You hang in there!!!

Me too, jojen. When the idea of the Plan came to be months ago, that what I imagined. We should still do that. But the Plan ended up being better than I ever dreamed.
While on the topic on magnets, can I have more? I was able to get two but I remember seeing other ones I wanted. Will you please list the ones you have leftover, jojen?

I went there earlier today and watched that addicting video three times. Three hours well-spent, in my opionion! I LOVED it!!!
