Thank you Irene! Yes this is a fantastic site! I so enjoy logging on every day to see what new comments and/or topics have been added. Thanks Susie and Dale. This show is going to run for a long, long time so therefore will this site!!!

Susie and Dale are amazingly hard-workers! Thank you SO much for everything you do for the fans every day! I agree, Irene, coming to the Blog all the time is the high point of my day.

Yes, thanks Irene. I really enjoy the "JB" blog, as well - also thanks to Susie & Dale for the blog and for helping me get on the Bulletin Board, so promptly...and for this site. Irene - I don't know about you and Mike sitting together at the SF show - see that you don't get too rowdy!! I'd really worry if it were you and Howard. LOL (just kidding, of course) - sorry Howard, I know you wouldn't get rowdy! :)

Hi Irene again,
I left you a message re: my comment above on the "Jersey Girls" site, since you had just been on there recently & thought you might check back there first!Posted 5 years ago # -
Susie and Dale,
I felt compelled to add another comment to the both of you for keeping this site so up-to-date with JB news and for adding The Jersey Boys Forum. It does perpetuate interest in the show and there is an instant bond that develops between true Jersey Boys fans, which the correspondence on the bulletin board promotes.Posted 5 years ago # -
I agree, Beverly! Thanks to Susie and Dale, I feel so much more connected to those who share my interest!

Hi Jan,
Of course we'll all be well behaved at the show. It's going to be a great experience for Irene and her family to see the 2nd Tour Cast perform, after watching the OBC so many times! This will definitely be different for them due to seeing new faces up there, but know that we'll still feel like dancing after the show. It would be nice if Howard could attend too, since he has friends in all three casts! I'm sure his buddies would be thrilled to see him. One of these days..... I hope to eventually plan and book a vacation back to NY soon and to see the past haunts of the Four Seasons.Posted 5 years ago # -
Mike,
Let us know when you book coming to NYC. All the EAST fantastic fans would love to go to the show with you. Truthfully, I restrain myself from dancing during the show but all bets are off for after the show. IE

I'm wondering... not to overstep my bounds, or anything, but are there other people like me who wish they had Jersey Boys Blog (business-like) cards to hand out to friends in our lives and others we meet at the show? I wish everyone at the theater knew about the Blog.
I think that many of us would have stopped seeing the show at some point if not for the momentum that being in touch with others who love the show has created in us. And I certainly never would have known about all the many related events I have attended, if not for learning about them on the Blog here.
I propose that we create a way to have a card, noting all the many features available on the JBB- to be distributed- especially at the theater! A second idea is that the producers include the Jersey Boys Blog website in all future show programs. It isn't right that there are people out there who haven't realized that such a wealth of information exists!
I would be willing to have them printed up and send them to anyone who wishes to have them on hand (to share the fun and for emergencies :) Of course, the content would have to be determined by Susie and Dale since they understand better than anyone the truly vast offerings that are here on the Blog! Any thoughts on this?? (especially from you, Susie and Dale.)

audrey, i agree with what you said about if it werent for the blog, a lot of us would have lost interest in the show, i know that's true for me (so thank you susie and dale!). this is my first time posting on here, but i have been reading the blog for the a pretty long time now and the forum since it got up and running. the business cards are an interesting idea. i think it would be nice to publicize the blog to more theatergoers, especially in future playbills if thats possible. an easy way to get the website out to family and friends is to include the link in the signature of your emails so that people can just click on it and see the blog right away.

Audrey,
Your idea is wonderful. It is time to give more "ubiquitous" press to the blog! I also love the idea of creating a card to hand out especially at the show. Whenever, I'm at a performance, invariably I talk to people around me about the greatness of the show and always mention I have seen the show numerous times. I usually find out that some of these same people have sen the show multiple times as well. There is a real dynamic going on which could be captured and better extended through some type of "extended" communication, like the blog. If on the card, the blog address was listed, the people we meet at the theater and all of us could communicate more often and the known fan base would grow.
WOuld love to hear your thoughts, everyone. IE

Audrey & Irene, I'm in comeplete agreement! Cards are a great idea. This is such a special show, special fans..............well, I don't have to tell you.........I truly believe that something like this hasn't happened in Broadway history (I'd like to believe that anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong). But what this show has generated is incredible and I think that what we're doing here and with the idea of "THE PLAN" taking place, cards, etc. this may merit some press coverage. Never has there been a show like this before or such love for a show from so many! AND what a love affair between cast & fans! So honored to a part of it all!

Wow, Audrey, what a super idea. I am like Irene, I have attended the show several times and always talk to the people around me about the show. I can't help myself. Invariably after the performance people around me start raving and gushing and wanting to see it again. Having the blog information for them is a great idea.
Posted 5 years ago # -
Shall we e-mail Susie and Dale about this idea in case they don't see these posts? IE

I had the privelege of going to the show in May with Susie and her brother, Craig. Kathy Bartsche and I were sitting several rows away so, of course, we went over. I attempted to tell the people around Susie about the Blog and... that sitting right here in the midst of them was the Esteemed Blog Creator herself!! (Forget that Rod Stewart fellow who was also in the audience that night, HERE was the celebrity of the evening for JB fans!)
If Susie and Dale hesitate, should we call Gyp? (I'm beginning to feel like one of those civil war re-enacters, ya know?)
Posted 5 years ago # -
Hey, Audrey...hold off on calling Gyp...The "card idea"? In the words of Bob Crewe, "BINGO!" This could be big! I'll have a sit-down w/the Tech-Half about it.
I'll be checking on the Bulletin Board more this weekend...so any more ideas/suggestions would be fabulous! Thanks!

Susie,
You and Dale are the best! Who would ever think of calling Gyp when we have the two of you? IE
Posted 5 years ago # -
Great idea Audrey! I just met a very kind woman at the stage door last week who is a new fan of Jersey Boys. She said she had seen the OBC a couple weeks prior to the performance we had just seen. She loved Jarrod! We were so enthralled in conversation about the show and the cast that I forgot to mention to her the JBB! I wish I had a card to give her, but I figure if she pursues info on this show she's bound to find JBB. I'm pre-ordering JBB business cards right now, Susie! lol. If you do decide to do it, I would love some to distribute to the Bay Area fans.

I'd only call Gyp to convince Susie and Dale to get the card idea in place ;)
That reminds me... could Gyp help with the PLAN? Actually, it sounds like you and Buz have 10 ideas already and are working them very well. Thanks so much for that!

The truth is, "I am not out of ideas." I keep going and going and going just like that bunny on TV, chasing each idea, trying to get home. I think we have a good shot. The witnesses think so, also. That's a basic rule. IE

Let's hang on to what we got, let's not let go cause we're getting hot. Can't take our eyes off of the goal! Willing to be beggin' to"achieve greatness." Greatness means one thing - Climbing the ladder to the Success of the PLAN. IE

Irene, I am so excited for the day I log on to this board and I see the plan has been achieved! I hope it is successful! (We are looking at a day in October, right?) I can tell that we are working our way to a goal, so lets not be in a trance, and gather the guts to pass the test! :)
