Linda, yeah Christian is hilarious and you can tell the shock of Bob Gaudio just by looking at him.
One of my favorite parts is when JLY is fixing his tie, and he can't get it right. It makes me laugh everytime.

Yes I loved every thing on that site. It's very informative I learned so much about all of the Jersey Boys, it's great. The tie is one of my favorites....
My recollection of that video is JLY taking a swig of the dark grape gatorade with the pure white tux, shirt, and tie just waiting to absorb some of the runoff. If it were I, the gatorade would be all over my shirt.
Howard, I thought the same thing. I was thinking, I hope the camera man dosn't crack a joke, I could see John do a spit take. Purple all over everything:)
Wow, I never thought of that happening. That would have been a horrible thing. Purple and white...
Cathsann - I received a letter from JLY where he said he does his own blog, but has help with his "my space."
I have an autographed dvd of JLY's Tony Day. Love it!!! Probably some of you have it, too. Yes, love the tie part. Later on, after he has won the Tony he says something like - don't tease me about the tie, I have a tony - not exactly what he said but that is the idea! :)
I love how candid JLY is in that Tony video! I always hold my breath when I watch him drink that gatorade. I know each timethat it doesn't spill but the IDEA that it can makes this worrier a nervous wreck. lol.
I didn't know he had help w/ his myspace. I wonder if it's his assistant, Susan, who helps maintain it.
I think his girlfriend, Alison, helps him with the myspace, but don't quote me on that.
Hi JBfan, I'm just so glad that he writes his BLOG. It's him, and so nice to read every time.
A, you're right Alison does help him with his myspace account. He told me that one of the times I spoke with him. In case anyone else was wondering about his myspace page, sometimes the comments are out of order because they have to be approved before they are posted -- that confused me for a long time!
Hi everyone, It's so good to be home. I feel like I have been away forever. I hope I didn't miss too much. I read that Irene and Beverly had a great time together, what fun and dinner with MaleUsher WOW!!! I can't believe it's almost here (The 21st.). It will be such a wonderful night, can't wait to meet all of you. The best was comming home and in the mail a card from JLY, thanking me for a donation for C.F. It made for a very nice homecomming.. The thing is it was a small donation, and I didn't expect a thankyou, but thats John and we all know how John is, don't we...Jody
Welcome back Jody. We missed you. Hope your cruise was fantastic. Looking forward to next week.
Oh, thank you Melissa. It's so good to be back, with only 7 day's to JB Day:)YAY!!!
I hope you all have a fantastic time next Sunday...I wish I could be there...but I know that it will such a great opportunity for you all. Does anyone know if the event is sold out?
Hey, where is everybody? You all must be at a Holloween Party..Is everyone pooped from last week. I have know one to talk to..I need Pamela's therapy session...Hello, is anyone out there??? Please, I need a JB Fix...Jody
Hi Jody, I'm here. I'm having withdrawals, too. I wish I were with Beverley right now. I'm not sure I can hold out until February to get my fix. How was your week?
Jody, I'm here... wondering where 'everyone else' is. I'm just checking everything (blog, bulletin, email) after being away from the computer for 25 hours, like I am every Shabbos (Sabbath).
For those of you out there that are Jersey folks, be sure you read the front page of the October 27th Star Ledger- the article titled "The state's big trifecta". Don't be mislead by the subtitle: "Three Jersey boys pull off the biggest sports weekend ever" Think... ubiquitous.
Hi, I'm so glad I'm not alone..I need to talk about JB at least 10 times a day.:) LOL
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all having a good weekend, despite the nasty weather. I'm just getting home after a busy day. Jody, we're all in need of therapy as next month gets closer. WE have to come up with some soothing mantras! Audrey, what did the Star Ledger say about our Boys?! I'll be in NJ tomorrow....
Help!!! I can't get the Star Ledger's story on the computer..I'm a little slow when it comes to this stupid machine..What is the story about???? Jody
Hi Pamela, I don't think I ever properly welcomed you. We are so glad you are here.
Thanks, Melissa. I've only been on the board a short time, but it's been great, and everyone is very warm and friendly. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend last week's event. Were you there?
OK, here it is starting with the second paragraph (am I getting ahead of myself?)
Monmouth Park is a historic classic with a new sheen, a post World War II beauty that has kept pace with America's growing sports and entertainment complex. Not unlike Franke Valli, the Newark Jersey Boy who found his roots in street corner a cappella and married it to his unique falsetto and who was entertaining the international set at Monmouth College last night.
Yes, they could have gone to New York to see "Jersey Boys" on Broadway, but why do that when the original was in town? Like the famed track, Valli is an enduring piece of the history of his business, still doing what he's done for almost 50 years. Singing like nobody else.
So here we are, in a sports weekend with a story worthy of its own "Jersey Boys" production.
(Yada, yada, yada- that's all of the significant part of the article. I'd say the writer, Mark DiIonno, has seen Jersey Boys, what do you think? I guess it was literary license that allowed the comment "they could have gone to New York to see Jersey Boys", because we all know how hard it is to get tickets ;)
Yes, I was. I live in Florida, but I decided that this was one night I couldn't miss. It was really wonderful and was over too quick. I'm sorry you couldn't make it, but knowing Irene it won't be long before another plan is hatched.
Melissa, why don't you also post where you live under the thread for that topic? Do you know how to find all the less active topics on the Bulletin? (plus- post on the birthday topic!)
Thanks for posting part of the Star Ledger article, Audrey. I'd heard that Frankie was going to be at Monmouth College. He is the consumate, original Jersey Boy, still putting on a great show. Likely the author's comment was refering to that.
Thanks Audrey, someday I will learn how to work this dumb machine.:) WOW! I can't believe it's been a week already. Time sure flies when your having fun.:(,:(,:( I'm not having any fun, wish it was Oct. 20th...Oh well. I guess I will listen to some music???? Jody
Hi Audrey, its been a while, but I'm pretty sure I responded to both of those posts. Pamela, have you yet?
Melissa, Yes, I posted on the 'Where Do You Live?' thread, but not yet on the 'Birthday' one.
You must log in to post.
