    In case you're not on the mailing list for the Broadway Booking Office, this was in today's email blast, which includes tidbits about their entire current roster (Jersey Boys, new Les Miz tour, South Pacific, etc...):

    JERSEY BOYS

    * Currently in its 5th year on tour, thrilling audiences and setting house records for sales.
    * “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!” raves the New York Post for JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award®-winning Best Musical about Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.
    * “The crowd goes wild!” – The New York Times
    * Sit-down engagements currently in New York, London, Las Vegas and Sydney.
    * Second tour to launch in fall of 2011.
    * Multi-week engagements with a minimum 3-week play.
    * Sharing terms deal.

    So will this be the Dawn Tour, or what? Time will tell, I guess...

    That's exciting news! I'm still hoping for a return to San Francisco since the exclusivity to Vegas should be up soon!

    I agree, that is exciting news! I'm hoping for a Honolulu engagement. Curious as to who'll be in this cast.

  4. I'm really hoping for another west coast tour. It's fine and dandy to travel to Vegas, but I'm hoping the Vegas sit down is not like how Spamalot and Avenue Q tours was set up.

    If you're talking about longevity, so far it's outlasted both (combined?).

    But as far as that whole west coast exclusivity thing, Phantom was playing in SF at the same time it was in Vegas, but I don't remember how long it'd been in Vegas at that point. 3 years, maybe?

    Hope it comes close enough to Houston for a road trip.

    I am so happy it is starting in Philly. Turns out I will be there for my Birthday in December and my friend is treating me to the show on December 10th...whoo hoo!

    This article has some errors, so take this with a grain of salt, but if alumni Bryan McElroy and Kevin Crewell are out doing PR but are not actually in any current productions, does that mean they're in the 2NT?

    I hope to see the second National Tour's Thursday matinee in Atlanta this week. I hear wonderful things about the Fox Theatre. Anyone see this cast recently? Any nuances I should be looking for?

    They were great and it was a gorgeous theater. It's not easy to play to audiences outside certain areas, though I imagine. I'm impressed with their professionalism, playing day after day all around the country. (really liked the Mary Delgado portrayal - I thought I had seen her played tough, but THIS was tough.)
