HELLO EVERYONE, I KNOW THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE COMING INTO THE CITY TOMORROW TO SEE THE SHOW AND/OR GET TICKETS FOR THE 18TH, ETC. I JUST GOT WORD FROM NYC (MY ACTOR FRIENDS IN B'WAY)THAT THERE WILL PROBABLY BE A STRIKE AND THE ACTORS WILL KNOW BY TONIGHT, THEY ARE JUST WAITING FOR A CALL. THEY MAY NOT BE PERFORMING TONIGHT, LET ALONE TOMORROW NIGHT. SO PLEASE CHECK THINGS OUT BEFORE YOU MAKE PLANS TO COME TO THE THEATRE. WHEN I FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION I WILL DEFINITELY POST, BUT CHECK ON LINE, ETC. TO SEE WHAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIND OUT IN CASE I DON'T HEAR UNTIL MUCH LATER TONIGHT OR EARLY TOMORROW. TAKE CARE ALL, I'LL DO THE BEST I CAN TO KEEP YOU INFORMED.

Will Jennifer's show still go on tomorrow night?

Thanks Wanda!
I just heard there is no Matinee peformances today for several shows and it does not look good for tonight. I feel very bad for the folks who flew in, some of them fans who post on this board that have come a long way from home to New York to see Jersey Boys and now there are no shows this weekend. How sad :-(Talk to you later,

Beverly,
I would think that Jenn's show is not affected by the stagehands strike.
Jenn will probably post something today letting her fans know her show is
still on.Dee

Gosh, I didn't even think about Jen's show. I'll be watching her site. Thanks for the question, Beverley. Ya know, we heard about the possible strike maybe 2 weeks back, then not another word about it until the last few days. I guess even JLY's last scheduled show on the 21st is affected too.

"I would think that Jenn's show is not affected by the stagehands strike."
It won't. Not even every single Broadway show is affected. (Go see Spelling Bee!)

You're right, Leanna. I just called the Laurie Beechman and spoke with Christopher. He said the show will go on as scheduled tomorrow.

It won't. Not even every single Broadway show is affected. (Go see Spelling Bee!)It's dissapoinnting that JB has gone dark because of the strike. But during this time you could see one of the shows not affected, or something off-Broadway.
And I have to echo Leanna, take the oppertunity to catch Spelling Bee before it closes in January. The current Broadway cast did the SF sitdown and I thought they were hilarious. And Jennifer Naimo has posted on her blog that her cabaret is still a go.
