In just over a month, JLY will be back on Broadway. So who's going to be there that first week? It would be nice to read show reports and any stagedoor experiences. Maybe we can have a fan reunion too.

Lulu and I will be there July 3! I'm sure I'll be going other times, too. (My sister is strongly considering coming back to see JLY on the 3rd also - no ticket yet.)
We heard that JLY will NOT be in the show on July 4th -- he's off for his birthday
So far I have a ticket for July 3, August 12, and September 30.
Due to JBB Forum posting issues, Vivi asked me to post this regarding when she'll be seeing the show:
"I have tickets for July 5, July 13, Sept. 18 and Sept 30 so far. I am so excited to be seeing John Lloyd again. He is the best Frankie ever!
I have not seen Jersey Boys with anyone else playing the role of Frankie, John Lloyd Young is the BEST!"
I just got confirmation from JLY's manager that he WILL be performing on July 4th.
The show is at 2 pm that day. There is no evening performance scheduled for that day.
I would so much like to see JLY as Frankie. However, the cost of fares from NZ to New York is just too expensive, so I will have to be satisfied with going up to Auckland to see the last NZ show on June 17th.

Does anyone happen to know if JLY's Jersey Boys schedule will be the same as Jarrod Spector's (i.e., Tuesday-Saturday evenings, Sunday matinees)? I assume that it will, but I just wanted to check. Thanks in advance for the info!
I read here somewhere awhile ago that JLY will be perfroming at "all" shows through sept. Can't locate the post though.
JLY is scheduled to do all all eight shows during his run. I saw the show twice this week and he looks fabulous and his singing has never been better. I got goose bumps during Frankie's last scene where he talks about being like that bunny on TV. After watching the Tony award appearance so many times and then to see it live was just fantastic. It was like being in a time machine.
His new CD is also wonderful. Hope you can go see him.

I didn't get to the theater on the 7th after all, Pam but I think you ended up going a different date as well - but I did hang around the theater on the 8th. :o) Tried to get an idea what the ticket situation is these days. I'm going tomorrow (8/26), September 27 and hopefully one other time before the 30th. I've been telling a LOT of people to get there in the next 5 weeks.

John did not disappoint last night....what an AMAZING talent!!!
So glad I didn't miss him in his return to JB! "Oh, what a night"!
Saw the show on Friday 8/31 and Sunday 9/2. It was so great to see him in the role of Frankie again. JLY is better than when I saw him at my first Jersey Boys show in Sept 2007. I really appreciate what he brings to the role. He doesn't rush through his lines, pausing enough to give his character enough time to react to what is being said or done around him. That is key to what works for me. And I just love watching his facial expressions. Yes, JLY sounds and looks better than ever. JLY is getting extra long applause (and standing O) after CTMEOY and at the end. I can't wait to see him again later this month.

LOL!! Well, Well.... It's our wedding anniversary, and that's one of my gifts!! 40 years!!!
After 3 yrs since my last post, I've missed out on a lot! Anyway, I'm going to be in NYC planning to see JLY on Sept 21st or 22nd...really looking forward to it :)
