This is great news. I have been watching and waiting. The wait is a little longer, but before we know it...

    Thanks, Helen.

    Happy to help!

Funny you should ask...I went recently to select my season tickets (oh, by the way, I'll be going at least one more time other than the season ticket night!). Of course, if you want up close the orchestra is good, but honestly, because the theater is so huge, the best seat in the house as far as sound and view is concerned is the mezzanine (I'm 4th row center).

I saw "Wicked" from one of the box seats, but it was on a bit of a slant (not unlike the last time I saw Jersey Boys...Row C, seat 9, Orchestra left...but wow! How close was that?!?).

Anyway, let me know if I can help with anything else! Looking forward to getting at least one more ticket for this cast :)

I just received an e-mail from someone in the ticket office at the Performing Arts Center...I need to switch tickets for the evening of October 12 and needed to know how to change them, and since I had his attention for a few e-mails, I asked him when the Jersey Boy tickets would go on sale.

He said October 14, which is different from the November 11 date on the website. Sooo...check back soon!

I just e-mailed the Tampa ticket office asking about group tickets. I got a very quick response from a nice man named Michael, and he informed me that you can buy tickets now if you have a group of 20 or more. I'm thinking I can certainly get 20 people together for a road trip from Jax! He also said that when the tickets go on sale Oct. 14th, the only certainty is that they will definitely sell out for all 5 weeks. (And apparently, he is a JB fan also, because part of his response was...

It’s “just too good to be true.” Too cute :)

Hey Catherine, I am down the road in Ormond Beach. I would be up for 2 and possibly 4 tickets if you have any you can't get rid of...yeah, right. :)

You can count my family in for 4 or 5 tickets, but it has to be one of the last 2 Sundays....March 2nd or 9th.

Helen, you know, of course JB is the hot topic!! All of us that have seen it know the effect it will have on audiences everywhere, for a long time. Then, you will be in our shoes.....WITHDRAWL...which is NOT FUN. I still miss the original Sherry Cast...

...and Faugno (he was the Frankie alternate, so technically he was original Sherry cast.)

Technically he was Joey in the original Sherry cast. ;)

I heard he was a great Joey, too! How was he different than Michael Longoria...anybody know?

BTW, I'm seeing the show in Tampa twice on Sunday. I am STOKED!

He was INSANE. I loved Rick's Joey. I can't explain how much he made me laugh and was the only Joey I ever saw who made everyone laugh when he was just standing in the background. Michael Longoria's was similar but less over-the-top.

INSANE as in Courter Simmons' insane? His take on Joey was downright obnoxious and not the least bit funny. What exactly did Rick do to make everyone laugh by just standing in the background? This intrigues me.

No, completely different from Courter and actually quite different from any other Joey I ever saw. (Although I saw Courter run the gamut, really.)

Rick's Joey was like...on speed or something. It's hard to describe. ;) But I saw him twice as Joey and the audience loved him. And actually, the first time my parents saw the SF/Chicago cast, the first thing my dad asked was, "Is it the same Joey?" and he was sad to find out that the Joey he saw was no longer Joey. And then when they announced the Vegas cast he asked again, but at least this time I could show him photographic evidence that his favorite Joey had moved up in the world. ;)

Gary, will you see 2 different Frankie's? Cool! Btw, I think Courter is great as Joey.

Oh, yeah...forgot Faugno as Joey. Courter obnoxious? I didn't see that the two or three times I saw him. In fact, he got more laughs than Taylor did as Joey. Isn't he supposed to be obnoxious, anyway? Funny obnoxious? I can totally imagine the real Joe Pesci sounding and acting just like Courter at that age. Oh, well. Dif'rent strokes for dif'rent folks.

Yeah, Stubs. I believe that CKJ does the matinee and then the understudy will do the evening performance. I heard that Zachary Prince is the official Frankie alternate. Doesn't Courter also cover Frankie along with Taylor Sternberg in this cast?

Out of no disrespect to Courter, let me change "obnoxious" to "annoying." Michael Longoria's Joey was more on the comical side of spastic as opposed to "in your face." Hey, everyone remembers it like they need to. LOL (isn't that the line?)

Zachary is the alternate. Courter and Taylor are the understudies.
