Susie, in your birthday month, I can't find the words to thank you for keeping us so up-to-date and bringing so many of us together via the Jersey Boys Blog. I often get into the habit of checking blogs daily, but often when there's no new info, I stop. Not only are we notified via e-mail when there is a new entry, you sometime post four or five a day.
I would never have known about shows by Daniel, Donnie, Tituss, Bobby, and Jennifer if it weren't for you. Audrey even jokes about your making me a "household name"--in any case, you have been kind enough to allow a rather staid CPA to exercise some of my passion for the theatre and for writing, and have indeed given me a bit of limelight as a dessert on the back nine of life away from the spreadsheets and tax forms.
Mostly, though, you've enabled so many of us to become friends with each other. I almost can't imagine life before my oldest JB friends Irene, Audrey, Gary, David, Beverley, Mike, and Pat, and newer friends Pamela, Lucy, Maria, Patty, Charles, Frank, Grace, DavidB, Harry, Norene, John and many others I'm probably leaving out.
Susie, two months ago, I had dinner with your wonderful brother Craig (yeah, we've gotten past our Yankees--Mets differences...I was put in my place w/the Mets losing the division on the last day!!). I posed the question, "Craig, I always wonder whether Susie and Dale know how much they've meant to my life in the past year and a half?" Craig's answer was, "Yes, Howard, I think they do. You've told them several times." Well, Susie, I'm telling you once more, along with my best wishes for a wonderful birthday year with much good karma. You've realized some of your dreams with this Blog, but I know you've even gotten more satisfaction by helping so many of us attain ours. Thank you, and may more blessings come true in the year ahead.
