Travis Cloer ("Joey" and one of the covers for "Frankie") will be starring in his own cabaret. The show will begin at 7:00 PM on Monday, February 25 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in the West Bank Cafe on 407 W. 42nd Street at 9th Avenue.

Travis has developed this cabaret act from the show he headlined on the major cruise lines before joining “Jersey Boys”. He will be accompanied by a full 8 piece band and will be performing an eclectic mix of music from standards & oldies along with some contemporary material.

We all know how talented Travis is from his performances in "Jersey Boys" and from the cabaret show "Journey to Jersey Boys", and what a great person he is from meeting him at the stage door. Hope we can all support his first show.

Travis mentioned his Cabaret @ stage door the other night. Definitely going to try and extend my stay so that I can go. If I remember correctly, Jen Naimo said that she would be accompanying Travis in some songs.

Oh, how fabulous that Travis is doing a cabaret!

I would love to see him perform because I love his voice, but I need to fly home to be back at work on Monday. :(

    Way to go, Travis!

If Travis' Christmas songs were anything to go by, the cabaret should be awesome. How I envy all of you NYers and NJers ;)

JENNIFER WILL BE DOING A NUMBER WITH TRAVIS AT HIS CABARET.........SO THIS WILL BE A SHOW NOT TO BE MISSED!!! UNFORTUNATELY, I'LL BE IN THE CITY FOR THAT WEEKEND BUT WON'T BE ABLE TO STAY FOR TRAVIS CONCERT.

HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE IN THE CITY THAT WEEKEND, PLEASE CONSIDER SEEING KELLY KINSELLA'S SHOW AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM ON SUNDAY NIGHT THE 24TH AT 7PM. JEN AND I WILL BE THERE AS KELLY IS JEN'S DRESSER FOR JERSEY BOYS. KELLY IS A GREAT PERSON AND AN INCREDIBLE TALENT!!!!

Thanks for posting that, Charly; it's absolutely awesome. Cathsann, his "Same Auld Lang Syne" on the holiday CD absolutely gave me chills, it was so haunting. What a talent!

Ditto to Howard's comments. Great video, Charly! Having never seen Travis as Frankie, it was thrilling to hear part of CTMEOY. Can't wait to see Travis' show on the 25th.

Charly, You should seriously think about adding Kelly Kinsella's one-woman show at the Metropolitan Room on the 24th to your long weekend. She's fabulous and even though she's behind the scenes at JB and not on the stage, she takes full command once she's there. You'll love her. Jen and I will be there for sure.

What a Jersey Boys weekend that will be: JLY on the 23rd, Audrey's Great Four Seasons Historical Bus Tour in the early afternoon of the 24th, hilarious Kelly Kinsella on the evening of the 24th, and the multi-talented Travis Cloer on the 25th. Never mind "Oh, What a Night"

    Oh What a Weekend
Late February two thousand and eight
So many special fans that'll blend
    And Audrey Rockman to narrate

    Oh What a Weekend
Travis, Kelly and John Lloyd Young
What a very special group to commend
What great talent we'll be among

We got a funny feelin' when they came into our lives
As all our 4 Seasons Memories rearrive
And as all our boomer energies are spent
They all came back after they got up and went

Ya know we didn't even know the name
Of all the places our boys evolved
But life is never gonna be the same
Since all the mysteries will be solved

I'm trying, Gary, but I can't come up with appropriate rhymes for exemption, alternative minimum tax, and like-kind property exchange.

See you next weekend, Gar, to celebrate JLY, Travis, Kelly, and the inaugural voyage of "Audrey's 4 Seasons Tour Bus." So "we'll drive like a fan, slow as we can, drive like a fan, in Audrey's van....drive like a fan, see all the sights, and so many fans will have our delights"

Did anyone get any photos or video? I love "The Prayer" and would have loved to hear Travis and Jen sing it. Anyone?

Travis absolutely ROCKED the house on Monday night!! What an entertainer!! I had never heard him sing before and was just BLOWN AWAY by not only his talent but also his incredibly engaging performance and his charisma. What a treat it was and what a great way to end an incredible weekend!! Audrey, Lulu, Vanessa, Charly, Howard, Pam & myself were at a table front & center and the hour passed much too quickly. Travis was backed up by "the best players on Broadway" and he doesn't say that lightly--Howard, please help me remember the names of everyone there!! Of course his duet with Jen was mesmerizing, "The Prayer" being one of the most beautiful songs...and from someone who hasn't had the pleasure of seeing Jen's cabarets, I've gotta say, she's got some SERIOUS pipes!!! Amazing, amazing, amazing. Of course getting to schmooze with Sebastian Arcelus & his beautiful wife Stephanie Block, Travis' better half Jennifer, star-in-the-making Nathan Johnson,JB-ers Colin Donnell, Sara Schmidt, Eric Schneider, & Kelly Kinsella added an extra special end to the night. Don't miss Travis' next show--he'll knock your socks off!!
I didn't take any video, but have some pics which I'll share once I get a chance to upload!

John and I were there as well, next to the JB table. Barbara was also there and had a front row seat - bird's eye view. We had wanted to see Travis, but we were still recuperating from the weekend. John made the decision to drive back down to NYC... that was the push I needed. I am so glad. As with Jennifer's Cabaret Shows and the Journey to Jersey Boys, Daniel's "Black and White", and Christians "Exiled" we, the JB Fans, are treated to these actors full talent, talent that they don't have an opportunity to share on the Jersey Boys stage.

I've seen/heard Travis on You Tube... but there is nothing like experience his show up close and personal. Andddd his duet with Jennifer was over the top. I got emotional for feeling so lucky to hear such talent.

We purchased Travis's CD and love it. Now I can't get the songs out of my mind, I need to find the lyrics to these songs so I can sing along.

We sat next to Sara Schmidt and conversed with her a bit. She thanked us for supporting Travis... is that so sweet? It is easy to support this cast; they all have always been so gracious to all of us and make us feel special and a part of their family. So, I say have more Cabaret shows.

Ditto what Norene has said (except for which table I sat at ;)
Travis, I learned later, was beginning to come down with the 'health challenge' that has caught up with many of the AW cast members but like a true professional, he gave more than 100% on that stage- with NO hint of how he was feeling. He was out of JB the next day(s). Watch for Howard's article and pictures to come.
