Thanks Audrey, for this information I found on the JLY thread. I just wanted to post it on this thread as well. Sounds like a really fun night. I hope someone is able to go and get photos/video of the evening.

I was at August Wilson today buying tickets. While inside, I met a fine young man hoping to see the show before an audition this week- so I want to wish him the best.
As I was leaving I ran into Travis and his lovely wife, Jennifer (and my daughter repeatedly mentioned what a handsome couple they are- as we walked away) headed to the theater as the company was scheduled to go to Yankee Stadium tonight for the all-star game. I think others here will agree that it continues to amaze us that these actors remember us- at a distance when it could be ANYone walking toward them. (Thanks, Travis for your warm hello... and good eyesight.)
Further down the street, I also passed Sara Schmidt. I think I could borrow a song from My Fair Lady, "Knowing I'm on the street where you..." Stubbs, help me out here.

Daniel could help you out with that song. That was his showstopper in "My Fair Lady." Just ask Missy57 who saw the recent St. Louis production!
Sounds like another pleasant afternoon at our "home away from home"...the August Wilson:)

"I have often walked, down this street before,
but the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before.
All at once am I, several stories high..
knowing I'm on the street where you live."
Want the rest - just let me know!
Or did you want Stubbleyou to put it in other words.Posted 4 years ago # -
