I still can't believe he's gone. He made me smile and laugh as Bob Crewe. RIP dear soul.

Yes, it's hard to believe. He was so kind and gracious. There will be a special place in heaven for him. God bless sweet John. You will be remembered.

DARN! I missed it. I can't believe I'll won't see him again in person. I was so excited when I heard that he was going to the Vegas cast because it meant that I would probably get to see him again in person. Never in my wildest dreams when he gave me a hug "good-bye" in Costa Mesa that would be the last time I saw him in person. I saw his Bob Crewe 12x and he quickly became one of my favorites in the show. He cracked me up everytime and I won't forget the one night where the gun got stuck in his pocket. I was at the perfect angle to see this and he kept pulling on it until it finally came out. It was delayed so the reaction wasn't as good due to this. I love this scene between him and Miles. It was one of my favorite scenes in the scene. Sadly I've never hear his voice on the stage or in person again. Hopefully he's with the Lord now partying.

It's the saddest thing to ever happen to the "Jersey Boys" family and their fans. I met John in late 2006 in San Francisco, then again in 2007 when they came back to Sacramento with the National Tour. He definitely was a great addition to the cast and we loved his portrayal of Bob Crewe and his part as a gangster during the "New Jersey Shopping" scene.

At the stage door, he never rejected any autograph or photo request, he was his energetic self while not appearing like he had performed for 2.5 hours straight, he appreciated all fans as much as we loved his stage presence and I believe his calm and friendly personality came from being a strong practitioner of yoga.

In any case, it's a huge shock for the Jersey Boys casts, fans, relatives and those that worked with him in the past, the world of entertainment lost a great actor and the set of Jersey Boys Las Vegas will seem a bit quieter now without his flamboyant and professional performances. Rest in Peace John.....
