Russell is taking over the role of Joey, and Dominic will likely be the Frankie alternate Wed and Sat matinees.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dominic play Frankie Valli on his debut on broadway and let me just say it was one of the most exciting things i have seen in my 52 years on this earth!!.....my husband and i couldn't pull our chins up off the ground. The minute this young man came out i knew we were in for a treat. His face was something out of an old movie. He was cute and handsome at the same time and reminded me of an old hollywood actor(the name escapes me)....and my god his voice!! it was so clear and strong and it seemed so easy for him. He then started sounding like Valli himself and i coouldn't believe it. His acting was subtle and passionate and powerful and as i looked around at the people there wasn't one person that didn't seem toouched by this young man. The standing ovation that he got after can't take my eyes off of you was so warranted and when he smiled the place went crazy!!....i have seen the show in chicago/las vegas/and london and not one other guy had the spark that Dominic had. And what a nice young man. He came out and signed every autograph that was put in his face. He had a large group of people there but he was so sweet to acknowledge all of use ''fans''....(and he has gorgeous blue/green eyes that i couldn't se from the audience!!!......everyone should go see this young man...and if he ever reads this...Dominic thank you for giving us a gift. god bless you.....Margaret

Just got back from the Broadway production of Jersey Boys with my wife and daughter. My daughter was excited to see a fella named Jarrod Spector because she was told by her friend in chicago that he was great in the role. She was disapointed when a new Frankie was said to be on in Jarrod's place. And as a father i was a little upset because i wanted her to be happy. But as soon as this young man Dominic came out she turned to me and smiled so i felt better. And as the show went on we were sitting there stunned by this young man. His voice was like nothing i have ever heard. His face reacted to every word uttered onstage and at so many points if i closed my eyes i could swear i was hearing Frankie valli...it was uncanny....my daughter was in love from the start and i even caught her crying when he lost his daughter...my wife said he was alost too good..if that is possible....we waited for him but it was cold and raining but i can asure you we will be back.....my daughter said she wants to bring her friends.....i heard he just does the matinee show? how will i know if he is doing the night shows??.....is Jarrod this good?.....night shows are easier for my daughter...but if these are the only shows we will make it work....thanks for whoever runs this blog and thanks Dominic for letting us in on your talent WOW!!

Hi Markem1 and welcome to the Bulletin Board. You are correct. Dominic is as amazing talent and we are so happy to have him here on Brodaway direct from the Las Vegas cast. He will do the Wednesday and Saturday matinees while Jarrod (who is equally great in his own way) does the evening shows. Now, if Jarrod takes a sick or a personal day or is on vacation, Dominic might fill in, but it's the production team that makes that decision (oftentimes with an hour's notice so nothing is guaranteed). Sometimes the swing (an actor hired to learn several different roles) will take the part. Your best bet is the matinee. I'm not sure if Dominic is listed on http://www.broadwayunderstudies.com but it is a great resource.

Yes, we are all grateful to Susie and Dale who run this blog. They have allowed many of us to become great friends.

Hope to see you at the stage door!
