I’m not one who generally believes these notes get read by the VIP’s, but what other opportunity is there for a guy who’s loved pop/rock music since the early sixties and (yet another) whose first album was “Sherry and Eleven Others” to say…thank you, Frankie. You’ve been a part of my life since I was ten.

Happy birthday. You still look and sound great. Looking forward to your May 23 concert with Smokey.

Frankie, I clearly remember the first time I heard Sherry in 1962 and insisting my father buy the album, which was my first LP. I have a wonderful memory of being with my father and hearing “My Eyes Adored You” for the first time in November, 1974, and my father commenting, “Wow, Frankie’s back again.”

Well, when I saw you on the Tony’s standing and clapping enthusiastically for Christian (I had missed the live performance), I looked up and said to my father (now long gone), “Well Dad, he’s back yet again.” And this time, it’s forever, Frankie. Happy birthday and thank you for bringing us all together to celebrate with you and for your great legacy.

From the 1st time I saw you in 62,that was it for me,followed your career all these years and am so happy you’re getting everything you and the group deserve.I know Nick is proud of you 4. Happy Birthday and many many more…God Bless….
