I actually met Bob Gaudio on this day 10 years ago at Tower Records in Lincoln Center at the Jersey Boys CD cast signing. Bob was sitting at the far left side of the long table so I met him first. This is where my ignorance of The Four Seasons was beneficial…I was totally at ease talking to him because I didn’t know I was talking to a musical genius!
The next time I met him was backstage at Jersey Boys, and when my husband and I finally left and were standing under the marquee taking it all in, Bob Gaudio walks up and offers to take our picture. 10 years later, after a decade of Jersey Boys experiences have shaped my life, if I met this talented gentleman, I would probably be too star-struck to say anything except, “Happy Birthday!”
