Pamela, after having gotten to know you better over the past few months, it was so rewarding to re-read this interview. Having grown up in Clifton, my first job was as an usher in the Capitol Theatre on Monroe Street in Passaic, but I was never on duty for a Frankie concert. Although Frankie's security is usually tight, if Mom's as charming as you, she probably had no problem getting backstage. (I wouldn't have made it past the ticket clerk!)

Yes, the JB cast is warm and genuine and gives to the fans, but you are one fan that also gives to the cast. You are one of the biggest supporters at the cabaret shows, and I know the "boys" and the "girls" appreciate it. I know you are also planning to fly to London to see the incarnation of the show there, and have a wonderful story about the Frankie understudy!

My only question about your interview is that you say you have no "real musical talent". You may not be Neil Sedaka, but why not accompany Christian in his next cabaret show, or Tommy on his "2nd Season: Autumn" CD on guitar, and let the public judge??

Finally, despite a demanding job (which fits you perfectly, given your nurturing and caring demeanor), you've brought many of us fans together and encouraged many true friendships to develop. Thank you.

It's a pleasure to know you, Pamela. Thanks for your friendship.

Great interview! Yes, I'm the sister that Pamela mentioned. Although I now live outside of Washington, D.C., I'm still a "Jersey Girl" at heart and, like Pamela, I loved Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as a teenager. My affection for the group was rekindled when my sister took me (and our mother!) to see the show in 2005. Now, I'm planning to take my two teen-aged sons the next time we are in NYC. Believe me, there are not too many Broadway shows that three generations can enjoy together -- but Jersey Boys is defininately one!
