You're not boring, Howard. Otherwise, I wouldn't have remembered Casey Kasem's AT40 Dedication to you for all these years!

I'm curious about the investors discussed in the NYT article about Jersey Boys today. Were the investors whose stories are discussed also fans of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons back in the day?

I don't have enough words to describe how this show changed the life of a boring CPA in his mid-50's 11 years ago. I made such wonderful friends among the cast, creative team, and many, many other fans. I was also honored to be made a special correspondent for the Jersey Boys Blog by the wonderful Susie and Dale Skarl. Tomorrow will be bittersweet for me, but I hope to convey my thanks and love to everyone I'll see at the August Wilson Theatre at the final show (well, the final one before the first revival anyway!)

I just can't believe JERSEY BOYS is closing. The first time I saw Jersey Boys was in October, 2005 on previews.
I was amazed at what an exciting and wonderful play this was.The original Broadway cast was unbelievable starring John Lloyd Young,Bobby Spencer Christian Hoff,
Daniel Riechard,
I knew from that day this was going to be a tremendous hit
I have seen Jersey Boys, 35+ times since that night in 2005."OH WHAT A NIGHT"
I will be there on Sunday, Jan.15,2005 to see it for the last time with tears in my eyes.
I will remember this forever.
Thank you for bringing this play to Broadway, I will miss not being able to see it on Broadway again.

Having attended the final Chicago, Toronto & Vegas performances, the one that clearly stands out was the nonstop, record-setting applause in TORONTO! I love the special appearances of producers, creative team and original Seasons, which often accompany final bows, but I think they’re best placed as a kick-off to opening curtain. To build the excitement … as a special, sizzling introduction, packed with edgy anticipation for the big night; NOT at the end when the cast & show deserve the rapturous, endless applause of theater-goers.

And theater-goers deserve that moment that defies words, when all there was – was the show! After all, this is theater, first and foremost; I pray nothing interrupts that final, emotional ovation.

“Final,” that is … until the revival we’re all waiting for!
