Similarly to the commenter above, I was unable to watch the broadcast on WCBS-TV this past Sunday morning (I was at my first softball practice of the season), but was later able to view it care of the Jersey Boys Web site. And what a piece it was! At almost 10 minutes long, it was an amazingly well-produced segment incorporating not only performances and comments from the Broadway leads of the show, but also including taped scenes from the original production in La Jolla, California and insights and reactions from both Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio. I felt the folks at WCBS-TV did an outstanding job of providing an informative and entertaining report on Jersey Boys as well as the musical group the show is based on, Frankie Valli and The 4 Seasons. In fact, it is so good, I will probably watch it again (and again and again!!)!

I loved the segment. I did not get to see it yesterday morning because I was waiting for student rush tickets for Jersey Boys! (I did get them, seat A9). I just watched it this morning....I loved how CBS did the contrasting between the group and the musical. It was odd to see the boys on TV after seeing them all last night. :)

The Jersey Boys piece on CBS Morning today was inspiring and once again showed the genius and genuineness of our NYC Jersey Boys. The guys have lived the lives of the orginal Four Seasons through their involvement with and understanding of the details of the lives of the original group. I knew JLY had gone to Vegas to watch Frankie perform but according to Frankie Valli's comments today, JLY really studied Frankie's performances, pen and notebook in hand.

I have said in previous comments that the JB and the original group are almost indistinguishable when you listen to both groups. The comparison done on CBS morning, showing the original and then the NYC JB reinforced this even more.

Great job this morning! Irene Eizen
