Great story. I had an experience last year with a woman st work. I had given her a CD with some of the JB songs on it, but didn’t tell her what it was. Driving home that night, she had to pull off the road when “Sherry” started, because she and her Dad had
shared a love of FV4S music before he passed away 16 years earlier. She felt it was a message from Heaven and her Dad was saying hello. I felt so good when she told me the story the next day. JB really does bring people together.

What a great story. Who knew? Jersey Boys is ubiquitous. And Stubbleyou, you may not have to keep your day job if you continue with your creative mind. You oughtta be in pictures or at least write for pictures. I would definitely buy a ticket, perhaps even more than for Jersey Boys! IE

Susie, you were also there when it was all still ahead of us- in La Jolla!

So glad to see that the hook for her wasn’t a decades-long love affair with ‘that kind’ of music, but a connection with a great show- excuse me ‘the greatest show’ she’s ever seen! Conversations like this are taking place everywhere. It’s amazing how Jersey Boys occasionally comes up more than once a day… of course, that’s on a really good day.

Susie, how did the discussion on the research project go? Did you guys ever get to that??

I recently had lunch with an upcoming guest speaker at one of my company seminars and his admin, an aspiring performer–maybe we spent 15 mins on the seminar material, and the rest of the lunch arguing about the greatest musical ever (her friend’s cousin is Patti LuPone)–I believe I had her convinced–over not only “Gypsy” but “Evita” and “Sweeney Todd” as well, but pls. don’t tell Patti!
