Unfortunately I was unable to attend the walk due to a last minute commitment, but definitely was able to contribute on behalf of our family and also to the entire team.

At the stage door before the 7:30 pm show, I was able to talk to Craig Laurie (Bob Crewe) about the AIDS Walk and news here on the blog. (Howard, he said so many nice things about you, and sends his regards!) He was totally impressed by the turnout (it was Craig's first AIDS Walkathon) and enjoyed the support from fans plus experience. Craig thanked us personally for our contributions and also for joining up with team Jersey Boys.

After the show, the rest of the cast thanked all of us for our support with the benefit and walkathon (the Jersey Boys were among the top "online" contributors, and that's not counting door-to-door pledges not yet accounted for). I think that it's great to see the theatre community so active in charitable causes!

It's fantastic that so much money was raised that will go to Bay Area orginization that help those affected by AIDS. And great job to the Jersey Boys Team for doing their part. Especially on waking up so early to participate in the walk and then doing 2 shows that same day.

Those are some great pics of the cast by the way. I saw one that isn't shown here posted on the official AIDS Walk SF site. I'm sure more will be up in the coming days. http://www.aidswalk.net/sanfran/index.html

Heres one with the boys (minus Drew) with the other celebs who were there, Mayor Newsom, and Assemblyman Mark Leno.
