I am beyond happy for Christian & John for their Tony Awards! I was holding my breathe waiting for Julie Andrews to announce the Best Musical…when she said “Jersey Boys,” we screamed and cheered.
I have read so many beautiful notes to Christian and John on their blogs, from their fans, and the fans and friends of the original Four Seasons…such love and true feelings of elation. These “Jersey Boys” deserve all of these accalades and awards…because everyone, over and over, state that they are beautiful people, not just talented actors. God Bless them!
As for the ORIGINAL Four Seasons, what a fabulous tribute! This play takes us back in time, so we can enjoy them all over again, LIVE on stage! It helps me to remember seeing them when I was in high school, at the Paramount Theatre (?) I think it was in Patterson or Passiac, or somewhere around there. They were on the show with Jay & The Americans…maybe some of you were there,too. I may not remember where I was, but I do remember the music! We will be taking another trip to “Jersey Boys” as soon as we can get the tickets!

Jersey Boys Christian hoff & John LLoyd Young deserved the Tony. Winning the best musical showed how important all the Jersey Boys are.I saw the show back in October 2005,I knew then how great it is.Thank You for doing such a great job.

My whole family in Texas was watching and on the phone with our extended family and we were biting our nails as the “other contenders started off strong. As soon as we saw Christian Hoff we knew what was was coming… John was amazing and so touching. There wasn’t a dry eye in our house. When JB won best musical we went crazy singing and dancing. Oh what a night is was in Houston!

I totally agree with Jim.

While there is a whole group of very talented people who made this musical work, the icing on the cake is that the Four Seasons have finally gained the well deserved attention that has alluded them for for all these years!

Bravo! And many thanks to to this blog and the GILG site for their dedication to this cause.

Still waiting for a write up in Rolling Stone.

After we won the second actor award, I gave up hope, figuring that was the crumbs we were being thrown to allow the BIG prize to go elsewhere. I couldn’t believe it!!

What a great night. And to me, its a validation of the great music produced by the guys for all those years. Often overlooked by the snobs of rock and roll, it was good to see the audience give obvious support to our guys.
