Does Joe Long currently perform somewhere? I am currently living in Washington, DC and would travel anywhere just to see him perform.

As a foreign exchange student in 1966, I became an admirer of the Four Seasons and their song ¨I´ve Got You Under My Skin¨and the best Xmas present I got from my host family was a long play of one of the group´s albums where that song was featured. I fell in love with Joe Long and used to stare at his picture. Recently I came across some of my memorabilia from that year, and looked up the group. It made me very happy to watch some of their videos, particularly the ones where Joe appears. I have been reading all about Jersey Boys and how he was omitted from the induction, so it makes me very happy to know that he is finally going to be represented in the upcoming play. He definitely deserves that honor. He seems to be a very sweet and humble person.

I am so glad that Joe Long will be portrayed in the upcoming Jersey Boys movie. Joe was a classmate of mine at Thomas Jefferson HS in Elizabeth, New Jersey real name then LaBracio. He was with the Seasons for 11 years from 1965 to 1976, and was a big part of their success. I saw the play twice and he is just about mentioned in the show. Of course being Nick Massi was alive when the group was inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Joe was not inducted with them. A real shame let’s hope he is finally going to get the recognition he so justly deserves.
