The Seasons Greetings on VJ from 1962 produced by Bob Crewe sounds just as fresh today as it did when first released.
The Jersey Boys Christmas Greetings is a perfect companion and Bob Gaudio has put ttogether another masterpiece.

You are correct Ted…but you could put it on the lay-away plan for $2 a week for the rest of your life.

Just finished listening to the 4 Seasons Greetings from 1962…every year now for 49 years…sounds fresh every year. It now has a companion on the CD turntable (or is that a disctable?)…A Jersey Boys Christmas. Crist and Ella love it.

I took Crist and Ella to the movies last weekend and the theatre was playing the Santa Medley from A Jersey Boys Christmas on their system and Crist says on the crowded line…”Daddy, that’s John Lloyd Young.” The women next to him says “no that’s the Jersey Boys.” Crist says he knows “but that the Santa Medley is done by JLY.” The women looks at me and I just shook my head yes. That’s my boy!

I remember vividly, on December 25, 1964, after opening our presents, going uptairs, turning on the family transistor radio, and hearing “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” by The Four Seasons. Remember that first family transistor radio? It cost $60, $70, even $100 circa 1960, and your parents reminded you of how expensive it was every time you got near it. I know this to be a fact because every home I went into I heard the parents say the same kind of things.
