I second your comment re Steve, Irene. Not only was he a marvelous addition to Broadway, he held up the JB Mantra of being considerate and kind to the fans.

And since you’re talking about the old neighborhood, my bud Craig Laurie from Staten Island (my present hometown, although I grew up a Jersey Boy in Clifton) is our new Bob Crewe in the 2nd National Tour Company. Craig tells me they’re really starting w/a bang, w/opening night tonight and multiple shows over the weekend! As with all the JB, I’m sure this crew will exceed expectations big time–good luck everyone.

Congratulations to Steve Gouveia! He did an awesome job at JB Broadway. Also, Jarrod Spector, while much younger than I, is from “the old neighborhood . . . where it counts, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania!
