Of course, any contributions are tax-deductible if one itemizes, as so many New Yorkers do because of the high state/city tax rates, and so many performers do because of their numerous available deductions, even if one doesn&#039;t own a home.

As a CPA, I advise my tax clients to put all charitable donations on one credit card, preferably one that categorizes types of expenditures, and at the end of the year, they have convenient summaries and acceptable receipts, not only for my tax preparation, but in the off-chance they are ever audited.]]></description>
