Lane and Neuwirth...wow! The fact that an Elice-Brickman collaboration can draw such a cast full of Tony winners and nominees is proof they rate the title of Broadway's Golden Boys. (Let's hope they don't become the Sunshine Boys for another few decades yet.) Very eager to see this show - somewhere!

And Howard, rumor has it that the otherwise iconoclastic M.Brickman will be doing cameos as "The Thing" alternate Wednesday matinees.

Howard, you may recall the trivia that "Thing" was usually played by Ted Cassidy, who was also Lurch.

From Internet sources: In scenes that required both Lurch and Thing, a crew member reportedly was used. Cassidy reportedly would occasionally use his left hand to see if anyone noticed.

We all have heard good things about the invitation-only reading early this year (I assume mine was lost in the mail), and I am so anxious to see it on stage. But where is my favorite character, "The Thing"??
