I had the pleasure of seeing the show in its infancy in La Jolla in 2009 (when the show had Starcatchers, not just one – I guess that was before the economic slowdown), and I was captivated. Equally importantly, so was stubbletwo (13 at the time) who spent the whole show leaning forward on the edge of his seat. Kids and adults alike were enthralled, and there was a palpable sense of bonding and community felt throughout the audience (particularly after the opening of Act II, but I won’t give anything away ;-) ).

And even back then one could tell that Christian Borle’s performance was Tony-worthy; I made the same prediction as you! Here’s wishing all the best for all involved. ;-)
