For the NYJBfan, the cast does have to sign in a half hour before the scheduled performance would begin. I happened to see JLY briefly this past Saturday night before he entered the theater. I also have tickets to see the show with a friend this Wednesday night, and I know everyone feels disappointed in missing the opportunity to see JLY perform before he leaves.

I also hope that the strike does not last long either. If there is any indication that stars have to report, it looked like the stars of two other “dark” musicals, the Grinch and Spamalot, showed up to their theatres and greeted the masses while supporting their stagehands.

Actors have to sign in as if the show were still going on, so you may be able to meet them before what would be curtain time.

I am crying my eyes out. I’m flying from CA to NY on Wed just to see JLY and JB. Will the JB stars be at the stage door or available anywhere at the theater for pictures or autographs even if the strike is still on? There won’t be another opportunity to see JLY in the role. The only way I can even try to describe it is heartbreaking that this opportunity has been taken away from the public.

That is very sad news. I just can’t imagine the disappointment of those who bought tickets & made travel plans and then did NOT get to see the show:( Hope this doesn’t last long!
