My very first trip to NYC was during the Christmas holidays. My friend and I ended up at The View for a late night drink overlooking that fabulous skyline with the Christmas lights just making it so magical. The band started playing this song and all the couples got up to dance and then started singing with the band. I will never forget my very first night in NYC. Thanks Susie & Dale.

This is such fun for those of us who have had too much time in between visits. The pictures are fabulous! And the music just makes me heartsick for NYC. When I was in my early 20′s, my (now)sister-in-law and I made several trips to the city to visit her brother. Before each trip we would play New York, New York over and over again on the jukebox of our neighborhood bar – until people started throwing things at us! Ahh, memories. Thank you so much!!! (and to think in all those trips, I never saw a Broadway show – not until 20 years later when I saw JB!)
