He still has the option to stay. I also think when and if John leaves, Michael Longoria would be the best one to play Frankie. I think it would be harder to replace Frankie Valli, then Joe Pesci. I plan on seeing Jersey Boys,again.I hope John will still be playing Frankie,he is terrific!

As to who his replacement will be if he leaves the show, I am not sure. They will probably decide on someone other than Longoria, because he plays Joey Pesci, and is also one of the Valli understudies. Maybe David Norona (who played Valli in California) will come back.

Has anyone heard about John Lloyd Young leaving the show? I know someone posted about this a few weeks ago, just wondering if there is an update considering that his contract is up Oct 6 (per his website) and after that he has a holding contract with ABC…does he have a last day scheduled yet, or a replacement picked out (can we assume it’ll be Michael Longoria)? Just curious what the “word on the street” is!
