Glad you got to see the show last week, even if you had to wait on line.How long was the wait? Well worth itthough, right?! Yes, the stars must really be aligned when I’m at the August Wilson, as I’ve never had a problem getting a single ticket. When I’ve purchased two or more, they are much further in advance.Very lucky, indeed. I’m thrilled to be going for the 7th time, and shocked that there was a choice of days for this week!After reading the posts here about new ticket regulations, I expected to go home empty handed. The box office is open 7 days. Monday seems to be a good day to go, as there is no performance. I happened to be off from work, and had to be on the west side anyway.I hope other Jersey Boys fans have similar luck getting tickets.

WOW! Pamela, “Mercury was in Taurus” that day you lucked out and got tickets without standing in line or even paying premium prices. You were lucky.
I did end up seeing the show last Thursday by waiting in cancellation line for a while. The man at the ticket window told me there were no regular price tickets for that night available to purchase so I got on the line for cancellations. It was well worth it. It was an amazing show which I very much enjoyed!
Pamela, maybe it has alot to do with which day you go.
I did not know the box office was open on Monday when you went this week?

Hi Phil,
Hope you were able to see the show last week. Wanted to give you an update on tickets from my end, especially in light of the recent info posted here. I swung by the August Wilson today, and was fortunate to get an orchestra seat for this Sunday, at $116. They also had single orchestra seats for tomorrow night at that price. I’m not sure if these are house seats, cancellation seats, or just regular sales, but I didn’t have to wait on line or pay a premium. Hope you had similar luck. Let me know how you made out!

Hi Pamela,
You were lucky you were able to see JB as many times as you did and for the price you did. Now in 2007 and moving forward it will not be as easy to obtain tickets as JB is the hottest ticket on Broadway.
I have seen the show 2 times and this week if I get a ticket in cancellation line will be my 3rd.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for the clarification. I did not realize the ticket policies and prices had changed! $350 is a ridiculous amount for a ticket, even for Jersey Boys. I’ve been very fortunate in obtaining tickets the 6 times I’ve seen the show, but may not be so lucky in the future… Hope you are able to get tickets next week. Let me know how it goes. Will this be your first time?
