Just wondering … were they singing live? I’m assuming that it isn’t easy to be wired in the middle of a parade; the microphones were more props, it would seem. Also, with performers like this – do they proceed down the street as part of the parade or do they just step up for their time in the spotlight? (Hmmm, I never thought about this – it would have been awfully cold for them to be out in suits for long, although nothing like what other marchers’ costumes are like.)
