Tis the Season: Season’s Greetings: A Jersey Boys Christmas, Part Three!

December 14th, 2011

We can’t get enough of the sensational Season’s Greetings: A Jersey Boys Christmas album this week!

Last month, we had the pleasure of chatting with Kristofer McNeeley, one of the multitalented background vocalists on this masterpiece. In his JBB Exclusive Interview, we asked Kristofer about his favorite tracks on the recording.:

‘O Holy Night’ and ‘Breath of Heaven’ are my favorites, I think. I’m a sucker for a good ballad and the arrangements are so lush and move beautifully.

In honor of Kristofer, let’s highlight his favorite glorious tracks!

Track #5: O Holy Night/Rise Up Shepherd–Jersey Boys Ensemble featuring Mark Ivey , with Michel Ingersoll & Tituss Burgess, soloists: How about those angelic voices with that incredible arrangement?!

Track #15: Breath of Heaven/We Three Kings: Pay close attention to the heavenly trio as they sing, “O star of wonder, star of light. Star with royal beauty bright” from “We Three Kings” before the powerful voice of Travis Cloer begins “Breath of Heaven.” My favorite “wise men” were absolute geniuses putting those two beautiful songs together, weren’t they?!
