You know, George. You may have something there. 4 part harmony is not limited to just 50s/60s Doo-Wop style. I think these guys have something here. Like Joe Pesci said, “It’s a good blend!” I hope they have the inclination to develop it and take it on the road. If so, I’m in the front row!

I have thought for a long time that “Come A Little Bit Closer” by Jay and The Americans, “Heroes and Villains” by The Beach Boys, and “Spanish Lace” and “New Mexican Rose” by The Four Seasons were all inspired by “El Paso”. “El Paso” in the final episode was also the best part of the Cable TV Series “Breaking Bad”, as the rest was just disturbing. I don’t know too many people who don’t like “El Paso”.

Such great harmonies. Just goes to show that talented singers can sing most anything. Now, after their JB days are done, perhaps they should buck the trend and avoid doing 60s pop, like The Midtown Men and Under The Streetlamp. Maybe bring some Season-esque harmonies to country music. Anybody have a name for such a group?
