That's so funny. I really liked that Luke guy and haven't really been watching American Idol since he's been out. I heard his voice and thought he could have a future in theatre. His looks made me think Gaudio but Frankie would be interesting.

Wow, that Ugly Betty guy has taste. Coming from a Hollywood actor, who knew? And the Ugly Betty people had a great view of the Chicago cast too.

Glad to see the "younger generation" following the old school sound of the 60's. One of my 16 year old twin sons, who watched Jersey Boys six times, performed "Sherry" at his high school's talent show with four of his best friends from drama club. He hit all of the falsetto notes perfectly and would have made Frankie Valli and the other stage "Frankies" proud! Now only if we had a camera and filmed it for YouTube.....

Every day, from noon to night, our home echoes with the sounds of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons/Jersey Boys with my son's singing and various Four Seasons and Jersey Boys cd's. I'm proud seeing him follow his drama aspirations and entertaining us by singing songs from the 60's

So glad to see this mentioned here! I get tired of people trying to explain the huge success of Jersey Boys by attributing it to the big Baby Boomer appeal.

If the Youtube clips of JB in high schools and colleges are any indication, I'd say this show is building a fan base that will be coming back again and again for decades!

It seems obvious that both the show AND the music are infectious and both have a timeless appeal. (I'd love to have some proof...with the help of a poll someday on the JB Blog about the ages of fans.)
