4 Stars for the Story of the 4 Seasons in Toronto!

August 25th, 2008

Theatre Critic Richard Ouzounian gives Jersey Boys in Toronto a four-star review! The Tony Award-winning musical hit opened at the Toronto Centre for the Arts last night to a thunderous standing ovation that easily answered the question “Was this show worth waiting for?” with a resounding “Yes!”

The critic says the more time he sees the show (this is his third time), the more he appreciates the skill with which it’s been put together. What could have turned into a boring evening of “greatest hits” has all the variety and tension of a full-blooded musical thanks to McAnuff, Trujillo and their amazing cast.

This is the real thing: a show that will make you cheer in your seats and leave you wanting to dance in the aisles.

  1. Kudos to the JB Tour gang. Those of us who have been JB fans for a long time are not surprised at the continued success. I may not be able to make it to Toronto but will try to catch up with the tour group again.
