I have read nothing but nice things about John Lloyd Young.He gives a lot of his time to raising money for several Charities,he auctions off his art work and donates all the money from the auction to charities .Doesn’t sound like a guy who is stuck on himself.

I never felt that John let his awards go to his head. He has always put his fans above all things.
How can you compare him to David Caruso ?
I’ve kept in touch with JLY since he left Jersey Boys.He has given his time to raising money for charity.
I can’t wait to see him again.I also think Jarrod is wonderful. He is such a talented actor.
There’s just something about JLY coming back.

I also purchased tickets, and am looking forward to seeing the original Frankie live and in person at least a couple of times.

Having said that, from the myriad of information there is out there, it seems to me that JLY pulled a “David Caruso” when he left. That Tony, the attention, the reviews and all that went along with it kind of went to his head. Hoping now that he understands awards aren’t guarantees to the promised land, he’ll be a bit more grown up and humble. I simply can’t imagine where his career would have gone had he stayed the course for several years…….

In any event, going back to ones roots can be a very theraputic experience. Hope it helps him to find whatever it is he’s looking for.

To emphasize Howard’s point about JLY being the defacto CEO, there are only 3 topics with more tags than John Lloyd Young. They are “Four Seasons,” “Frankie Valli,” and “Jersey Boys.”

It’s all a bit surreal still, but I managed to push through the shock and got tickets for July 3! I figured there’d be time to sit in stunned silence AFTER I had ticket. I won’t be sitting in silence, though, when JLY emerges onto the August Wilson stage once again this summer!

I am so excited you will be back. Just got back from the city and bought my tickets. It will be great to see you again, John.
We all shared so many memories and I hope to see some of the special people I met .
