Former JERSEY BOYS Broadway Nick Massi understudy John Leone will be performing tomorrow, March 21, in his one-man show, “Songs My Father Loved: A Tribute to the Great Italian-American Singers” at 8:30 PM at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, 61st and Park Avenue.

The fast paced homage to some of the iconic male voices of the 20th century, celebrates Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Vic Damone, and Jerry Vale, among others. All share Leone’s Italian-American heritage, but it is the influence these singers had on Leone’s father and his cronies at their local social club, the Sons of Italy, in the Italian neighborhood of Weymouth, Massachusetts, that affected Leone most. Here is where he launched his show business career – first as a singing busboy, and later as “the lodge’s” house wedding band singer.
