Four Seasons’ Story Is A Winner In Ft. Myers!

February 6th, 2012

Another fabulous review for the JERSEY BOYS first national tour in Ft. Myers. Here’s a preview from Drew Sterwald:

Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice’s uniquely effective book boasts a rich, narrative arc that adds historical context to the music and allows each band member’s perspective to be represented over the course of 2½ hours. It certainly helps matters that the four singers led exceptionally colorful lives, complete with mob connections, troubled marriages and threatened breakups.

What’s more, the actors playing Frankie Valli and the other Seasons deliver multidimensional characterizations while at the same time singing their hearts out and dancing up a storm. The show works best when all four are on stage harmonizing tightly and dancing in unison.
